Amber front side lights

Are the all Amber colour front side light / indicator / reflector units an MOT and police acceptable fit to a Rev 2 ?
I thought that front side lights had to be 'white' in the UK ? Can someone confirm please ?

Could someone tell me if this event has MR2 spares for sale (Used or New) on what some may call AutoJumble stalls ?

Re: Possible fuel or sensor issue?

I would advise that you drain the fuel tank completely. If the really old fuel you had in there contained ethanol, then it is almost certain that there is a fair quantity of water in the bottom of the tank that is being sucked up and sent to the engine, causing the kangaroo effect. Even non ethanol ...

Mk2 Rev2 Fuel Tank Level Sender Unit

Has anybody fitted an alternative non-original Fuel Level Sender Unit to a Rev 2 N/A tank, without massive modifications, and found it works like the original ? My unit is covered in severe flaking rust on the resistor case and I imagine it will not be long before it fails. No longer available from ...

Re: SW20 Rev 2 Fuel Tank Stuck/Jammed

My MR2 is a UK MK2 Rev2 N/A. Can anybody, who accurately knows, list how much fuel/water/rust etc is left in the tank once the engine dies from lack of petrol ? I have 'drained' my tank by the pump being operated with the bridging of P+ and B+ terminals and the fuel removed is very clean. I am wonde...

Re: [Mk2] [NA]Help please..... Ways to drain the petrol tank ?

are you sure it has no drain plug ? dropped mine a few years ago with about half a tank in it , but pretty sure there was a drain plug . Hi and thanks for your reply. AFAIK, a petrol tank drain plug was only fitted to Mk2 Rev 1 & 2 cars, maybe only to genuine imports ? I do not know if the same...

[Mk2] [NA]Help please..... Ways to drain the petrol tank ?

Can someone suggest a straight forward way of draining the fuel tank on my Mk2 (NO drain plug) that has about 75% of stale petrol in the tank?

Thanks if you can

MR2's and E10 Petrol

From September, all UK petrol stations will be selling E10 petrol, containing 10% Ethanol, as demanded by the Government. The currently available E5 petrol, already a problem in many cars, is set to still be available for a further 5 years, apparently costing around 14p a litre more than today's pri...
