Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Eibach Springs ... with standard struts?

A bit old but I think you'll just shorten the life of the oem struts as shortening the throw of the dampers does odd things to them. The yellow billies are designed to work with lowering springs. The uk spec struts are pretty softly damped compared to the black and yellow billies. Do your current s...

Re: Springs and struts

Blimey, yes that is a lot of variations!! Definitely right to be worried about those exposed spherical bearings, I'm so surprised that Alex hasn't suggested people use rubber boots which you can stretch over - although he doesn't market it toward road use and for track usage I imagine exposed joint...

Re: MK2 windscreen \ windshield needed

Were you able to find a good fit windshield? My buddy might be needing one for his incoming Rev2 project. The current owner mentioned it might need a replacement. We'll just finish installing the headache rack and tonneau covers on the pick-up truck before we can take a closer look at it.

Re: Haynes Manual

Be aware that if you download the pdf in the link to shinny's storage, that the ecu diagnostic codes in it are not correct for a UK MK1 and all the parts referring to cats and EGR systems do not apply to UK spec cars. If you use the link I posted you can download the 4A-GE engine manual ( which has...

Re: SW20 Rev 2 Fuel Tank Stuck/Jammed

It can get jammed slightly at the front of the car. Pretty sure I had to use a jimmy bar to get mine out. We'll keep that in mind. My friend got this Rev 2 project and he needs to drop the tank as well. We'll just finish installing the brake pads and exhaust from 4Wheelonline onto the Jeep project ...

Re: Leaking sunroof 1991 Uk Rev1

How's your research so far? We got this incoming Rev 1 MR2 project we'll work on after we finished installing the set of wheels from 4Wheelonline onto the current Wrangler project. The sunroof of the car is leaking badly. Appreciate it if you update us here. TIA

Re: Nathan's Mk2 Turbo Rev 2 - Hard Top - 1993

My neo-chrome cheap lug nuts were starting to round off so I'm trying out these Mishimoto Ali lugs. When it stops raining I'll slip them on. Reminds me to work on uncle's lugs as they getting round as well. We'll just finish installing the shocks from 4Wheelonline onto the Wrangler and we'll start ...
