Re: [MK2] [N/A] Power Steering Motor Not Stopping
Where did you find/read this information ? Because none of the information ( BGB's, Wiring diagrams) that I have mention anything about the pump switching off at idle. Pump on mine turns off if the wheel is not touched for a short period of time. Every SW20 I've had with PS has done this. Roughly h...

Re: [MK2] [N/A] Power Steering Motor Not Stopping
Tbh, I've never seen any official documentation suggesting that the motor switches off at idle but it's something I've seen mentioned on many forums/topics. Some more googling suggests that the motor doesn't switch off but just slows down until turning input is detected. Again - can't seem to find a...

[MK2] [N/A] Power Steering Motor Not Stopping
Hi All, After getting the car back on the road after a few years my P/S motor seems to be much noiser than I remember. It's practically silent when the car first starts but after a little driving you can hear it from inside the cabin. This has also come with another odd bug. Per other info I've read...

3S-GE BEAMS Estimated Power with VVT-I removed.
Hi All, Doing some research on various swap ideas and have come across some information that suggests that once you start taking the BEAMS much over the stock power figure the VVT-I becomes more of a hinderance than a help. So, if you took a stock redtop BEAMS with its standard 198bhp and removed th...

Preferred method for replacing fasteners
Hi all, I'm looking at removing the front bumper of my 2 and on all the guides I've checked they say bolts are gonna snap. So what are people's preferred method for replacing snapped bolts/fasteners? I've used the drill out and riv nut method for the undertrays but I'm guessing I'll need a more perm...

[Mk2] [NA] Need Help with Hardrace Rear Trailing Arms
Hi All, Just fitted a pair of the Hardrace Rear Trailing arms and wanted some advice on exactly how they should be set up. I just need to know which way the rear section is supposed to face. So should the bolt that connects the actual bar to the U shaped link be vertical or horizontal. I tried addin...
