[Mk2] [Turbo] mk2 turbo gearbox failure
Not having much luck at the moment! I think my gearbox has failed in a major way. Surprisingly didn't do so under any kind of load in fact I was doing about 2mph when the back wheels locked (thank f*ck I wasn't travelling at speed). Now I can select all gears and drive forwards or backward a couple ...

Have tried everything including modest heat and a pipe wrench and scaffold bar to free them to no avail (I did free one b...

Re: 3SGTE engine rebuild - recommended workshops
I'd be pulling the sump off and checking the bearings before I committed to a full engine out rebuild. You might be able to just replace a couple of main or big end bearings in situ. Cyl3 is suspect anyway, seems counter intuitive to take the shortcut route when I know cyl3 has an oil issue. I've g...

Free stuff
I don't have special access to the for sale forums but this is free stuff so if the moderators want to remove - well you're just seeing off anyone that could gain from it. I've aquired a few spares from my engine build project and I'm moving next weekend so need to get rid of a few bits. Parts are f...
