Re: Luke (Skywalker's) 2GR-FE MK2- Full restoration/build
So I realised that I never put these up here! Before winter, it was time to get a quick re-fresh at the detailers and to have them ceramic coat the new wider rear wheels. Now she's all tucked up for the winter https://i.ibb.co/4mYp9P0/IMG-4554.jpg https://i.ibb.co/N3DNWHq/IMG-4553.jpg https://i.ibb....

Re: Luke (Skywalker's) 2GR-FE MK2- Full restoration/build
Little update. The car was running an Apexi air filter, which was great, however any time I washed the car, the filter would get soaked since it was sitting right under the join between the engine bay access panel and the body. Not ideal!. I was looking for alternative options when this ARC box beca...

Re: Luke (Skywalker's) 2GR-FE MK2- Full restoration/build
Bit of an update. I finally got the wheels back from Voodoo Motorsport, who have done a fantastic job. They machined and drilled the lips, powder coated them gloss black and re-assembled. I am really happy with them and I think the fitment is spot on. Its now. 8j ET35 on the front and 9J ET22 on the...

A huge thanks to everyone that came to the Memorial meet a few weeks ago.
Not much has happened to the car since then, other than the new wheel lips finally arriving! Should have them back next week or so.

Re: Luke (Skywalker's) 2GR-FE MK2- Full restoration/build
Maybe they are packed, but without a perforated pipe in there id be surprised You could probably do something similar with the japspeed, or at least cut it open and repack it if theres already a perforated pipe in there. I can report that the car sounds MUCH better. I didnt get a video unfortunately...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Clicking sound from rear on overrun
So I've noticed that I have a clicking sound coming from the rear of the car, only when I'm not on throttle, as soon as I put load in, it goes away. Any ideas? Sounds like it's coming from the drivers side rear
Everything is new under there.

Re: Luke (Skywalker's) 2GR-FE MK2- Full restoration/build
So the most recent job has been the exhaust. The Berk was VERY loud with the V6. transpires that there was nothing in either box. no wadding, no perforated pipe, nothing! No wonder it was loud! So, I decided to cut the box open, weld in perforated pipes and then fill with Acoustafil which expands wh...

Re: Luke Bliss Annual Memorial, 16th Aug, 2020
arrgghh. Damn it - once again I'm going to miss this. The last two times I've been on holiday, and this time my cars booked into Toyota for an engine out recall fix - and I am not going to bowl up in a courtesy car lol (unless they give me a Supra :D ) Next time. You are more than welcome to come i...

Jesus f*cking christ. Look at this thing man...Absolutely phenomenal Julian. I had my oldest brother pass away when I was 17 so I know exactly how that feels but to go to these lengths to commemorate him just beggars belief. I wish I had the time and effort to make such a statement I really do. Luk...

Id definitely recommend some MT-90. Best price I found was JJC on eBay. bought a US gallon and had some left over

Re: sticky gear change
Biggest improvement I found was when I changed the Gearbox oil to Redline MT-90.Expensive, but worth it.
I have a TRD shifter and also solid shifter bushes.
