Re: Yellow Ferrari in Wolverhampton

#-o seriously why does one want to turn one's MR2 into a "ferrari", just keep it as a lovely MR2. Spot on, I have driven a fair few Fezzas, but nothing that up to date. And I can honestly say I truly wouldn't thank you for one unless I could sell it instantly and buy something like an r32...

Re: Headlight retract after flash (sidelights mod)

I'm really glad that somebody has posted how to do this as it p1$$e$ me right off when I am running my sidelights/fogs and flash somebody and the headlights stay up.

Is it really just as simple as cutting/disconnecting the red wire?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Fitting aircon?

Cars originally a U.K. N/A. But is now a rev 3 turbo conversion.

How hard or easy is it to fit aircon?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Open mouth side vents

I had the bar in the midddle of each vent removed when I decided to get the car fully resprayed. Guy said it was p1$$ easy and didn't even charge me for it.

I've been keeping an eye on the reservoir and it isn't going down at all?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Clutch problem.

If I am driving along the motorway for instance and haven't had to slow down and change gear for say 30-45 mins the clutch pedal falls flat to the floor. If I hook my toe under it and pump the pedal 6-12 times I get a fully working pedal again. I never lose the clutch pedal round town when it's bein...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fuel gauge reading incorrectly.

Filled to the brim with V-Power than drove home, topped up from the fuel can in the boot right to the brim again and let the gauge settle.

Took off the needle and repositioned it bang on the full mark.

All good.

Thank you.

I've turned the boost down again to 15 psi. Linking it to a Blitz power meter looks cool.

Re: Peter Gidden of Sbits.

I forgot to mention, it's not all bad news. The engine is actually bang on, I did another compression test and all good. I did have one done before I bought the engine as well mind you. A little bit of smoke on occasion from idle that's all. Maybe some wear in the turbo but forging the lot in the ne...

Re: Peter Gidden of Sbits.

As I have previously said I really want to move on from this now. It's a complete mess, especially in part from myself by posting up things with emotion rather than a cool calm head. Again I sincerely apologise for that I really do. Now, regarding the recording of our conversation without my permiss...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Setting up Blitz Duel Solenoid EBC.

It's not that one buddy, I'll see if I have a pic of it somewhere.

Adjusting the boost is simple enough I'd just like to get to grips with what all the other functions are.

Turned the boost down to 15.5 psi yesterday.
