So I assume had this been unblocked when i drove it, I would have struggled to make boost?
I've not tried it since blocking it.
I'll check where I've taken it from later and move it if needed.

No, not std hot pipe.
Teed into one of the vac lines on the intake manifold for that.

Re: Vac hose location
Currently just trying to run a spring pressure which should be 1 bar.
Have one vac pipe from the manifold going to the bottom port on the gate, top port has nothing on it.
Boost leak was my thought so went hunting for pipes not attached.

Vac hose location
Hi After a short ride in the car yesterday to test all was well, I've noticed I'm only seeing 0.4 bar of boost. Turbo is gt3076 with brand new tial 38mm external w'gate. Have opened up the tial today to check the spring and it's blue dot so should be 1 bar. I'm now questioning my self on some of the...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Garrett turbos
Hi
It's 4 bolt.
On second look it seems I can't use a rule.....
When I got under the car today the size seems more like 2,3/4" so 3" really.
One of the threads is a bit unreliable though, thoughts on heli-coiling it or, tap it larger?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Garrett turbos
Hi all
A couple of years ago I bought tricksters old gt3076, does anyone know if these were available with 2.5" and 3" exhaust outlets. Mine has a 2.5 but all I seem to be able to fine for gt30 series turbos is 3" flanges?

Re: Self build aero improvements
Yeah, saw yours for sale. Shame it's been painted I think that may put the carbon bonnet crew off. I understand why you did it though. Bought mine from a guy who got it from Nathan of century Motorsport, it was damaged when his car tried to leave the trailer in a motorway bump I believe. So needs so...

Re: Self build aero improvements
Some good reading there, and nice to see some kind of evidence to how effective these add ons are, rather than just opinions.
Already got the ask sport bonnet and scoop, seems like it's time to make a splitter/frunk flat floor to get the best from it.

Liked the flat front he built.
Love to see more of anyone else's efforts?

Self build aero improvements
Hi
Anyone done any self/home build aero improvements?
Such as, front splitters, rear diffusers, canards, vented front/rear wings?
Been reading a fair bit online about aerodynamics and wondering if anyone has done much themselves?
