[Mk2] [Turbo] Greddy profec b install

Hello,

I've got a greddy profec b to install on my rev 3 and was wondering if anyone could post up pics of their install to see how and where they've fitted the components? I've tried the search and didn't have any joy :(

Cheers

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Low profile tyre damage?

Low profile tyres tend to have stiffer side walls so it's not a common thing for this to happen if you only drove the 100m you said. If you drive any flat tyre long enough the side wall will break down.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] RAGING!!!!!

They don't need to drive it to warm it up, even if using engine flush. Why didn't they just run it in the garage. No compensation but they should have a traders insurance policy to cover any car in the case of a bump. The only time they should need to actually take it down the road would be if they ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] 225/45/16 on Front..??

I said i know for sure a 225/50 won't fit so i'd be wary about a 225/45 as it's only 5% smaller. The front supra alloys are 8j et50 but were spaced out by 15mm which brings it to et35.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] 225/45/16 on Front..??

I know for sure a 225/50 16 does not fit. It fouls on the bottom spring carrier of the shock. This size tyre was on my supra alloys spaced out by 15mm. I've now fitted 215/40/16 and these are still a tight fit. Before you buy tyres i'd try and find a definate yes or no from someone save you wasting ...

I'd be very wary of a car selling on e-bay with no V5!

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Ct20b Re-build.

Is that right? He was under the impression all uk models had it. Obviously not gospel though. How much is it worth to rev 2 owners as it is needing an overhaul?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Ct20b Re-build.

Hello all, Has anyone ever attempted re-building a turbo themselves? If not how much does it cost roughly? Don't want it modyfied just serviced as it's a high mileage one i got from a friend off a U.K ST205 GT4. Apparently has a steel shaft not a ceramic one like the jap spec cars have. Any advise w...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Worth changing the HT Leads or anything else I havent done for a service?

The gearbox oil does not lubricate the clutch. The clutch plate is like a brake pad. It grips on to the flywheel to give you drive. If it were oiled you'd never move off your driveway.

[Mk2] [Turbo] knock sensor

Hi everybody!

What's the easiest way to remove the knock sensor? And would it be obvious to look at and see it was knacked?

If the law find out you lose it!! No case to argue cos technically it would be owned by the insurance company of the person it was stolen from.
