Re: Anyone organising any trackdays?

Could be interested.

Depending on the date, also ideally the 102db day would suit me better?

Re: Hullavington Airfield 08/05/2015

Hi miles Yeah I thought that after we went home. Have to get on the same day somewhere else and have a ride. By then I'll have the injectors fitted and be running more boost. The springs would be gratefully received! Pm me your number and address and I'll head over on the first free weekend/evening?...

Re: Castle Combe spring action day 25/04/2015

Yeah the yeti was impressive, however watch his on boards and the driver seems like a bit of a tool!

My exhaust kept coming apart after 12 or so minutes of abuse as it was just regular bolts holding it together. Now upgraded to proper studs.

Re: Castle Combe spring action day 25/04/2015

Hey

I must have missed barrie on track.

Saw the red one going on a trailer so assumed it was broken.

Was a good day, and the standard of driving was better than many action days of the past.

Same here, lovely thought.

If I had a white one without a doubt I'd be happy to help.

Re: Forged Engine rebuild

Ref running in, the other plus to them doing it is if they offer any kind of warranty on the build, at least they can't use the excuse of you not running it in right to void it. Should anything nasty happen early on.

Great, didn't think toyota would be able to help.

So they can get me the female connecter as per the bottom of the ecu?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Link G3 Fitting

Hi Just purchased MartinF's link g3 with map sensor and 800 injectors. He's kindly supplied it with the loom from ecu right through to the engine so I could either swap them over or see where to modify my loom to fit the link. What i'd like to do is have a Harness adaptor to plug from my std loom in...

Right, didn't realise there was other stuff I could cut through.

Guess I'll have to do it the proper way.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fuel pump removal

Is it the only way ash? I'm very limited on time and space.

Very tempted by taking a hole saw to the tunnel.

How long realistically should it take to drop the tank, change the pump and refit the tank.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Fuel pump removal

Hi

Anyone got any experience of removing a pump without dropping the tank?

I mean, cut an access hole in the tunnel above the pump maybe? Car is a dedicated track toy so not too worried about looks.

Any advice or experiences welcome?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Pipework help please

Hi Long story short the car has been apart for far too long and rather embarrassingly I have forgotten where a few things should be. I've taken some photos, please advise if you can. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/150x100q90/907/XQPSV7.jpg The above pipe I think would have gone into the air intake...

Re: Is this any good for monitoring intake temps?

So what sort of guage would work with that kind of thermocouple?

Can't seem to see one, does that square plug come off to be wired into a guage.

Sorted now.

That should have been bunged and it was open to atmosphere.

Rips now! And holding a steady 0.9 bar.
