My bet would be ignition components. Sounds very similar to an issue I had which was rectified with new rotor arm.

Rev3 turbo engine
Hi Dipping my toe to see if there is anyone looking for the rev3 long block currently in my car. Obviously not ideal for someone in a hurry as it needs removed but great if you want to hear it running before purchase. Includes sump to rocker cover, no inlet, no exhaust manifold, no ancillaries or in...

RMR intake manifold
Hi
Rev3+ rmr intake manifold with larger throttle body.
Think it's a modified rev 1/2 unit as it has had the mounting holes on either end worked to fit the rev 3 head bolt pattern.
Pics available on request
£450 Inc post and packaging

Happy to jump on this bandwagon, I've had injectors, ecu, forged bottom end, fuel pump and a flywheel off him.

Re: Building my track car.
So, it's been a while since my last post in here. Once I listed the car for sale, had some interest but being the beginning of January no-one serious enough to buy. Then when I was in for my weekly coffee with my friend, who is a mechanic with his own business, we were talking about the situation an...

Re: Anyone organising any trackdays?
Custom side exit, measured 97 at Combe but there can be discrepancy in different tracks so would rather have the largest buffer possible.
