great upgrade to later cars, the carpet in the earlier cars was far better than the later cars. I did mine a few years back, not a massive job ... just take the seats and safety belts out and then some plastic trims like sill covers and panels behind the doors. It's the same wheel as the Mk3 MR2 & Mk7 Celica, just a different airbad cover.
Some of them even had part of the wheel covered in the perforated leather
