Hi guys,

im buying all the bits to forge my engine at the moment, and found some chatter on some US forums from 2010 ish stating the main studs if using ARP are too long and hit the sump the flywheel end of the engine.

Has anyone modified their sump? or used toyota bolts instead etc?

I'm not sure to be honest. I have the gauge but i still need to install the sensor. Same with oil pressure. The short story is the clip holding the wires for the sensors snapped leaving the wires directly under my dump tube so they were melted. It's something i intend to fix. Also, Totally hijacked...

It's an aftermarket/custome thing. Bought it off my mate. The wiring and fuse box has been moved to the boot too. Unfortunately we measured the wires for the coils and injectors wrong. The smaller one goes back to the inlet manifold. The larger one just vent to a catch can. Yeah as soon as possible. I've a 70 mile round trip for uni everyday and a 30 mile round trip for work every night. I just couldn't face putting the mr2 through that. All your rev 2 stuff will bolt straight up. . I'm building up a rev 3 engine. I'm looking to vent the 2 breathers on top of the rocker cover to a catch can. Reading around loads of people have differing opinions on if this is ok. Cheers guys. I've started sourcing rev3 engine bits. So plan is to build an entire new engine to swap in. Then sell my rev 2 turbo engine as a whole.
