Re: Suspension advice
Swift are supposed to be the very best afaik ? How does one obtain those here? I'm looking for fit and forget tbh , konis are all well and good but only go into n/a struts and suspect they are tuned for the n/a as opposed to the heavier turbo engine. Yellow Bilsteins plus decent springs certainly se...

Cheers , particularly curious to see how they look on yellow Bilsteins... which is what I'm thinking of shooting for at present.
Or possibly just bc' s as I understand they can be set up to be quite reasonable on the road , allow height adjustment and are at a reasonable price point that considered.

Re: Suspension advice
Do you have yellow Bilsteins then ? That stance looks s*** shouldn't it be an even 20mm drop at both ends ? Kinda ruins my plans as I thought a 20mm drop would be spot on, kinda looks like 20mm at front and nearer 40 at rear... Is this because the engine is heavy though and these springs are matched...

That's a bloody pain, the H&Rs seem to be recommended and 20mm drop seemed like the perfect amount for me, looks xxxx though...

Re: Suspension advice
Starting to lean towards yellow Bilsteins and H&R springs, it's the least faff and probs cheaper than getting n/a struts to rebuild with koni inserts and h&r springs.
Also hadn't considered the konis are theoretically intended for use on n/a...

Suspension advice
Hi all My car came with Tein superstreets but they are just too hard/harsh with the roads around here. It's like being in a cement mixer full of bricks. Currently considering my options. BC coilovers: worried they will still be too harsh and also aware proper shock absorbers will provide a better ri...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Can't find right car considering build options.
Sounds like I might have been alright before the pound fell off a cliff. I'm really curious though , you seem to know your stuff is it possible to watch out for cars yourself to import ? I wouldn't even know where to begin. Would be fascinated to look into it a bit more even if it's just for satisfy...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Can't find right car considering build options.
I'm starting to think you are possibly right but didn't fancy paying out maybe a grand then waiting for ages. My budget is 5k at the moment so after paying the importers I have maybe 4k for a car , does that really get you anything nice on import ?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Can't find right car considering build options.
Hi, I really want a rev 3+ turbo tin top but there's nothing out there that I like for sale atm. I saw gee mans conversion and it got me thinking. I could get a good G limited tintop with all the jdm spec , again not commonly available but does open up more potential cars. Then turbo convert it. Jus...

Any pics of interior ? I'm looking at a couple of turbos or a v6 conversion. This looks nice.
Apparently the leather bucket seats from the later gen Celica will drop in. They look nice and don't cost mega bucks.
