Re: [Mk2] [NA] probloms with replacing the convertor

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Will turbo strut inserts fit na 3sge rev3 ? what options?
The damping ability of the struts is very bad rather than it being an issue with stiffness. They bottom out everywhere when the car is driven hard. The car is absolutely stiff with no roll whatsoever. Is there a diffrence in the size of the strut between rev 2 and 3,because i was sent the wrong struts...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Bonnet and engine bay hydraulic struts
Could a proper group buy get started for these Trevor? I would be interested and it looks like that other group buy has died a death. I'm not in a position to lay out the money for a group buy ,i dont have a credit card any-more to offset the cost until people pay, But i can collect them and distri...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Bonnet and engine bay hydraulic struts
I fitted the bonnet rams this morning ,and all seems good ,i cant see any increase in bonnet height after fitment ? . i fitted them with the ram pointing down ,and then changed them over to the other way round ,in my opinion they are better this way round on the old type of ram people had to file fl...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Anyone do a photoshop for me?
Personal opinions mate ,personally i prefer darker strips on lighter cars on my black 2 it had a charcoal colour strip ,and they blended in nice with the black stick some green insulating tape on to give you a visual idea could always do the sills as well ? http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n281/bl...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fuse box diagram please
Only one fuse for the windows ![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
do, other electrical items work on that side?
if not it could be the wiring where it goes through the door
or could be the window motor itself or just the switch, does it not work from either switch
?

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Turbo lid rain tray modification
As above ,the rain-tray is part of the engine lid on the N/A it seems you are trying to prevent the rain from drowning the alternator ? you could temporarily pop rivet a section onto the N/A lid, similar to what the beams engined cars have ? http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n281/blz-8027/DSC01368....

Re: Headlight controller modification - 800x600 photo heavy
OK, I did the mod on the left cap as my supplier only had 1. It didn't seem to make that much difference so I'll have to do the other 1 anthor day. It was certainly not as quick as in the video. Oh well :( Same problem over here, I also replaced just one capacitor and it don't seem to speed up the ...
