I'm 24 and haven't had any issues getting quotes.
Give Adrian Flux or other specialist insurerers a ring. I'm yet to find a car they won't cover me on at a reasonable price.

There's Owslebury Crankshaft Service (OCS Automotive Engineering) in Winchester. I've used them before for skimming sportsbike heads and they seemed pretty good and well priced.

Finally got myself an MR2 :D , and got this as part of the sale. Looks to be brand new, never fitted. There's a few scuffs from years of storage, but nothing a bit of sanding won't fix.
