Re: My fiancée and I are restoring a 1993 Toyota MR2 t-bar
Thanks for the feedback guys :) I appreciate not everyone is gonna like our style, and overall we've had a really good response. It definitely makes all the extra effort worth it. Pretty sure we could get twice as much work done on the car if it weren't for the filming and editing, but it's all part...

Re: My fiancée and I are restoring a 1993 Toyota MR2 t-bar
Im in no way a prude, but the swearing sort of ruined the vid for me. Its weird as i use foul language all the time and watch loads of vids with language like that in it lol but for some reason it just didnt feel right for me in this vid. Its not like there was a lot of it in the vid either but for...

I did wonder about the spare engine bay plugs, but a few people have pointed out that Toyota used the same wiring loom no matter what spec or market the car was. Makes sense

Yeah, I was surprised, pretty good CD collection though, almost made up for the mouldy peanuts
I've already been in touch with the seller and I'm gonna be sending the CDs and satnav back. Would have felt wrong to keep / sell them.

Thanks for the info. Mine definitely doesn't have AC, odd that there's a connector hanging by the rad

Cheers! The car had been running for a good hour at that point, I don't remember ever seeing the temp gauge reach half way during the journey
Guessing the thermostat could be stuck open? I'll add that to the ever growing list gonna do a full coolant flush and get a new rad anyway.

Should a rev 2 3S-GE have 2 radiator fans?
As the title says, should a rev 2 3S-GE have 2 radiator fans?
I'm planning to replace the radiator anyway, but today I noticed there's only one radiator fan, and an unused connector next to it

My fiancée and I are restoring a 1993 Toyota MR2 t-bar
Hi everyone, My fiancée and I have just started restoring a 93 SW20 which we picked up for just £200 with an MOT. We're doing a build log on YouTube, and have just published the first episode, so we'd love any feedback. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvXHW_wVi84 Also, if anyone can help identify th...
