[Mk2] [NA] UK rev 3 exhaust

My exhaust tone changed very suddenly when pulling away normally. I don't tend to drive the car hard at all. My MOT centre did rev the car very hard recently to help clean out the engine. So the bass tone is now much louder. It basically sounds like the car is just much louder. I can't hear any blow...

MK2 N/A NGK ignition cables

Has anyone used the NGK cables for a rev 3 UK na?
I want a set to fit in the holder ideally. Just wondering if they NGK ones
Will do or if I need the Toyota set.

Cheers guys
P.s. Any other decent quality sets people can recommend that fit?

[Mk2] [NA] LSD question

Has anyone fitted a quaiffe LSD from the MK3 into a UK standard na gearbox? I've read that it apparently just drops straight in with no extras needed into the standard box. Is that right? Also does anyone know if the Kaaz LSD - 1.5 Way also fits in there? Was thinking it might be a nice upgrade. The...

[Mk2] [NA] Speaker and door soundproofing

Hi all. I'm planning on changing out my speakers with a plug and play equivalent as an experiment. But at the same time I wanted to put in a bit of soundproofing. something like Dynamat, Noico etc. I've had a hard time find decent photos of what our MK2s look like behind the door panel but it seems ...

[Mk2] [NA] Brakes rebuild.

I recently returned my front calipers. The only thing I didn't replace where the guide pins as they didn't come in the bigg red kit. But I am going to order them as the bottom pin (with washer) on both was quite pitted and rusted. I cleaned it up before reusing. However I noticed the channel in the ...

Clutch slipping question.

Hello all. I recently went to the Cotswolds meet. During the two hour spirited drive I did my best keeping up with the turbos. So I had the car in the power band for the most part. Towards the last ten minutes of that drive my clutch was slipping in every gear regardless of revs. After lunch the clu...

Yeh I know I really need that measurement. I passed on them in the end. They are 16s though not 18s.

Wheel sizing advice needed.

Looking at picking up some alumi k, cw33, equip like wheels. I've seen a few up with various sizings. One set I've seen are 16s 8, 9 inch staggered. Recommended tire widths I've seen are 225, 245. Are there any fitment and rubbing issues with those sizes? Seller doesn't have any offset details. Chee...

Re: Retrofit aircon to UK NA?

Yeh I thought as much. As well as their being an AC and a different Climate control system.

Guess it's probably far easier to find a JDM car with it in place and repair it if needs be.

Let us know how you get on shinny. :)

Retrofit aircon to UK NA?

I'm sure this has been asked before but i've not had much luck on the topic in searches and on facebook. So has anyone done this before? Any idea on cost if having a garage do it? Are there aftermarket options with uprated parts or is it simply a case of getting a system out of a parted car and repl...

Re: Rev 3 leather seats

They're in much better condition than you'd normally get for £60. Especially the driver side. Usually torn bolsters at that price. Could just be no-one needs them just now. Though if you put it up on the facebook channels it would probably shift a lot faster.
