So forgive me for asking...

So do I now need to find a home for this blue connector?????

Eg. somewhere different than the black one seen in the pic.

I can fit the other connector into the back of the filter, just unsure about the blue one. :roll:

Need some guidance if possible

Hi All, in relation to the above post. Car is back up running and sounds solid. Just unsure about the connections for the K&N filter. Please see above post, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Well bu88er me it worked! Im a fairly confident diy mechanic but following the wonderful guides on here and using the trusted Haynes the car is running well. Engine servicing in Bedfordshire area request

Hi, I require my distributor refitting and timing done on my Mk1b. Thought I had a local specialist contact but after a few months I've not had any joy of them doing it. Now i need to see if anyone else has a contact or advice on what to do next. Not skilled enough to do myself. I'm in Bedfordshire....

Part numbers

Yes it's the plastic that goes behind the handle. I can't seem to get the original ones to fit. Eg. Cloth to leather.

Does the part numbers confirm I'm.looking foral another set?

Dear Jimi,

Looks like a replacement switch will be the cure. Ordered over the weekend.

Will update when in and tested.
