Re: Potential Berk Exhaust group buy
Aparently the systems will be back in stock in the beginning to mid May, but still no actual date.
Im still 100% up for this.
I cant belive there isnt more interest given the hype these exhausts get. £500 is a pretty good price for a brand new system!
Come on guys. Treat yourselves ; )

Re: Potential Berk Exhaust group buy
Berk wont have any stock until sometime in May (they wont give an exact date until nearer the time), they dont actually have any and are manufacturing them as we speak. But, im in. I will be ordering one of them when they're fabricated so if we can get a discount im happy :thumleft: Ade Glover (on f...

Re: Help Valuing a Rev 1 Turbo
It really depends. There's not a massive difference between the rev1 / rev2's (although i expect someone will disagree). When you're comparing prices between those it seems to be that the millage plays a larger part in dictating the price (and obviously the condition) rather than the rev. Or at leas...

Re: UK rev5 N/A to Jap rev5 Turbo conversion

Im not sure if there was something dodgey about it or not, but at least the dissicion has been made - and i dont have an MrTwoDevelopments timebomb i...

Re: UK rev5 N/A to Jap rev5 Turbo conversion
Full reg is T709WWT, if you want to do any history checks. Interestingly, that reg doesn't show up on the new MOT history checking website, but the vehicle enquiry .gov website does recognise the registration, and says the MOT ran out in 2014. Yeah thanks Gazza, i noticed he blanked out the front b...

Re: UK rev5 N/A to Jap rev5 Turbo conversion
See, this is why forums with people who know what they're talking about are so invaluable :D. I had no idea about Mr2Developments. Glad i asked. MR Rich - Yes it is that one on ebay. If you guys are saying to steer clear of Mr2Developments then i'll do that, it's just a shame as that's pretty much w...

Re: UK rev5 N/A to Jap rev5 Turbo conversion
Wind up merchant :oldtongue: Thanks for clarifying. Its helpful to know and puts my mind at ease a bit. In terms of insurance; i know they qualify for classic insurance, but do you guys recommend any particular company for moddifications like this? I got a good quote from Admiral for a normal Turbo ...

Re: UK rev5 N/A to Jap rev5 Turbo conversion
I only meant from the respect of having mph conversion, speed limiter removed, underseal'd etc. Yeah. After i posted that i thought. Actually the brakes would change due to weight rather than power so perhaps a bit daft for asking that. Id rather ask and be mokked than not ask and ... u get the idea...

UK rev5 N/A to Jap rev5 Turbo conversion
Hi guys A question for a greater man than i ... Is there anything to look for / worry about / specific questions to ask when buying a UK spec N/A rev5 (1999) thats had a rev5 (1999) Jap turbo engine, engine management, clutch and gearbox dropped into it? I'm thinking its the best of both worlds, but...
