is it running well ? and i dont beleive if your ht leads were on wrong i dont think it would start..

so iv started to see a increase with my car dieing when coming to a stop...i press the foot brake then put the clutch down and sometimes it drops to 500 then 400 then 300 then dies... any ideas guys??

so my car keeps smashing the rotor arm and destroying the dizzy cap and i got a feeling the bushes in the dizzy itself are worn is it possible to buy one for a mr2 mk2 na uk model rev 2???

God didn't read your message properly sorry! that's bad that oil light is not "top up your oil" its a oil pressure light...meaning i believe that oil is not circulating through then engine properly which is BAD. Hopefully someone will either agree with me or prove me wrong but i think that...

I wouldnt say its serious...id say start the car and let it idle and warm up and just listen to the engine for any knocking or anything like that... overall just see if the light goes out.

thanks for all the ideas guys iv decided to simply buy a new throttle body with everything set on it... im just tired of it so ill just get the whole throttle body and slap it on!

well after changing my idle control valve back to my old one its sorted it but now goes to 2300 revs and hunts around there...i did mess with the plate with two small screws at the bottom of the icv anyone know how its supposed to sit as i know thats the problem.

hey guys recently made a thread about an idle problem, basically id start the car and it would die straight away....i put on my old idle control valve and it worked but now it goes to 2300 rpm and hunts around there... i did move the plate that has to small screws at the bottom of the icv with a pla...

i would not assume that its anything to do with your battery i would look more into spark and fuel first ...

umm ill have to look into getting one then how much are they do you know? would it be okay if it was a second hand one? spoke to toyota and ima get a new throttle body gasket and a gasket for the 4 butterfly valve part of the intake thing...dunno what that part of the intake is....lol

i havent no but if that was faulty surley my temp gauge would not warm up? because it does its just so strange iv had nothing but truble with the idling and now it just wont stop dieing unless its warmed up...

i did mine recently you dont need to remove the trim just carefully with a very small flay head screwdriver pry the old one out.
