Thanks for the replies/suggestions folks!
took the door card off yesterday to investigate and the drivers speaker had come free from the MDF spacer used. Fixed it all back in (With an extra couple of screws) and all seems good again!

think i found the problems.
When opening the drivers door the speakers came back to life briefly so i think that speaker is either shorting or has loose connection.
Doors cards off tommorow......But im glad i have potentially found the fault!

Prepping the car ready for MOT at the moment and after running some tests i suspect the Sensor is a little tired, the car isnt with me at the moment (getting other works done on it) so cant just go out and have a look.
