[Mk2] [Turbo] Forge Actuator

My boost solenoid on the AEM truboost failed a while back at a point where I just got sick of the car. It's been a good 12 months since then and have decided it's time to rekindle the love. As the car has always ran around 1.0 -1.1 bar in boost could I manage to do that on the stock 20b with a forge...

Reach adjustable steering column

I've been recently thinking about swapping out my current column with a reach adjustable one but I've been wondering whether it would make much of a difference. My question is, for those who have one, how does it compare to a rake only? can you get the steering wheel much further towards you or is c...

Does anyone know of any good and reliable companies that can rebuild a E153 gearbox?

Are the Denso/Kysoan pumps really proven though. I've looked at these pumps a few times but something is holding me back.

Link g4+ Plug in ECU - New with extra's

Due to a change of plans this is now surplus to requirements. Brand new Link G4+ plug and play ECU for Celica ST205/MR2 Turbo revision 3 complete with plug and play MAC boost solenoid and expansion loom. ECU has never been out of the box or used. Boost solenoid plugs straight into the factory loom v...

Could you measure the inside of the barrell? Would like some extra wheels for the track but would need to clear big brakes front and rear.

Re: Gearing

It's an interesting idea but I can't help but feel on a stock engine/turbo it wouldn't be very beneficial for anything other than motorway cruising.

Re: Headlight retract after flash (sidelights mod)

Is there a way to improve the speed of the headlamps when flashing someone? Possibly by using bigger capacitors ?

Re: Wheel size recommendations

I run a 245/40/17 tyre on the rear on mine. Lowered on Eibachs with black bilsteins with no arch mods. My offsets aren't that aggressive and I'm only running an 8" rear.

No scrubbing. When I switch over to the KW's that may well change.

In that case then I shall invest in a fully functioning used one to test the theory on my bad sensor. I'll report my findings :thumleft:

IS200 ABS sensors

Evening chaps, so I've got a duff right rear sensor and I've heard it mentioned a few times now so I'm just wondering if anyone here successfully used the IS200 ABS sensors on their MR2? How was the fit? How much modification was needed?

Re: Discontinued Parts

I found out this week that the gasket between inlet pipe and the throttle body is discontinued. I suppose maybe somebody somewhere may have some on the shelf but asking my local dealer they say discontinued. What you tend to find, or at least I do anyway, is that most of the original part numbers a...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Import screen replacement

I had a similar issue tracking down a screen when a stone went through mine. I don't know how but my dealer managed to find one of only a few remaining green tinted screens left in the country. Granted it didn't have the windscreen antenna fitted like my car came with originally but I can live with ...

Stunning car. I almost bought it the first time you put it up. Was a toss up of yours or the one I eventually bought. Then you saw the light and kept it which made my decision easier.

PS. Just out of curiosity, how did you find the TS2B on the road?

Interestingly enough on the Gen 5 manifold the IAT is fitted here.

Wonder whether this location makes a difference.

Either way, I've ordered the sensor now so I'll give it a go and see how it goes.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Better air intake temp sensor and positioning. Results page 6.

I can see how your theory could be quite accurate. It is a fair bit shorter. My dilemma is I'll be running meth injection in the coming months and from what I'm lead to believe the stock sensor is too slow to adjust so I'm looking for "drop in" alternatives and this seemed like the ideal s...
