I have been effectively running the same thing on my rev1 Turbo for about a year and a half.
Just tightened up the spring on my blitz BOV until there isn't enough pressure to release it. Same effect

Re: Rev 3 turbo low boost
Hi Well if your boost is not as high as it was previously you are losing pressure somewhere. I would reseat and check your hoses (from intake to throttle body) for splits, in regards to the wastegate, if it was stuck open you would notice it was a lot slower coming onto boost than previously and if ...

I would say it is worth it
I have similar mods and the difference is definitely notable between my stock ecu and the access ecu

Re: Boost problems
Like above you need to check to make sure your boost controller is correctly connected, but with the decat etc your system may just be too free flowing that not enough exhaust gasses can escape and the boost is climbing.. I had a similar issue with the same mods after installing my hks hi power exha...

Re: Help regarding car covers
I bought one of the cheap waterproof 'breathable' covers off ebay last year, it was around 20 quid and fit quite well, I use 2 bungee cords one across the bonnet attached behind the 2 front tires and one on the rear, this keeps it in place and keeps the car dry, I have not had any problems with mois...

Re: Turbo Flutter
Looks right!
Only reason you would be hearing any flutter is if the factory BOV was not opening to recirc the air and it was going back around the compressor.
If you want to cover the postage charge i could probably send you one that i know is working to rule that out

Re: Turbo Flutter
Hi
Is the vacuum on the BOV hooked up?
Do you know the factory BOV you are using is working and you have it plumbed back into the intake?
I never had any flutter whatsoever with the factory setup

Re: No Clutch Pressure Rev 3 turbo
Is your clutch pedal on the floor?
If you pull the clutch pedal up with your hand manually does the spring eventually kick in and snap it into the up position?

Re: Mr2 mk2, idle problem / hunting when applying some acceleration!
Pretty sure he is referring to an actual capacitor on ecu board
have you tried resetting the ECU by disconnecting the battery to clear the codes and see if the issue comes back right away when you start the vehicle?

Re: Mr2 mk2, idle problem / hunting when applying some acceleration!
I had some issues with a searching idle previously on my turbo, which happened after reinstalling a new downpipe after a week or so a couple of the nuts had come loose and exhaust gasses were escaping out of the side causing it to fluctuate. After tightening these all back up the issue was resolved....

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] BOV on a Rev1 Turbo.
Hi I have a blitz bov on my rev1. It depends really on the spring tension. When you have it set to blow off quite readily with little boost required to do so it won't spring back shut quick enough so if you snap off the throttle and come to a stop without touching on the accelerator again to close i...

Re: Rev 4 NA wont start
When the car did start after resting did it sound like it was mis-firing at all? I had a similar issue where a fuel injector was stuck open, the car cut out on me and would not start due to there being too much fuel and it couldnt ignite. Had to get towed home and the next morning i turned it over a...

Re: Boost reading / electrical issue perhaps?
I dont have any other 'problems' I am simply wanting someone to confirm that with the map sensor not getting a reading from the intake manifold, as its a hose with the bolt in the end, the ecu is not taking anything else into consideration and the reason i am getting this error is down to an issue w...
