Turns out NO-ONE can't get the larger grey sensor so upon it sliding out I saw the wire strip that had broken so I soldered it and reused it. It's a boffs but it'll do for now. Hi guys got a Rev3 hg for my Rev1 and half the waterways are blocked off.

Will this cause my engine any problems?

Turns out I was right, Id caught my hg starting to fail. Ok, so my machine shop convinced me to skim 1/4 of 1mm(Bob don't shoot me!) I'll get it back tomorrow and put everything back together this wks end. You won't regret that, I did not have mine skimmed / refaced after first head fit as mechanic...

For the sake of a few hours you'd be as well taking them out changing the stem seals and relapping the valves though. It would be a real waste not to do it. Yes you can leave the valves in place for a head skim. You do need to remove the cams though. :thumleft: The head on the MR2 is quite solid and unlikely to warp.
