you can fit the ct20b turbo without upgrading anything else, then raise the boost to15psi max and get around 20hp more than the stock ct26 and another 10-15hp with a D-cat pipe, with these mods and a bigger intercooler you could be around 280hp, you don't need a fuel pump upgrade until your over aro...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Bit smokey?
So I'm starting to get a bit of smoke from the exhaust. No real pattern to it, just whenever it fancies. No smoke when cold on start up, no smoke on overrun, no difference when hot or cold it just smokes a bit sometimes worse than others. What I have noticed is that I've needed to dial in more to t...

pump
Inspected my walbro and it certainly seems to be a genuine one. It's a split new fuel filter but i'm gonna changed that as well. Yeah there is literally no noise from this new pump whatsoever. I'm still getting pretty wild fluctuations on my afr gauge at idle and cruising. There's nothing to indica...

pump
So mapping today ha! Turns out my fuel pressure issue is still there. Tested the FPR and that is fine. Chris at Dynatune reckons the pump (bought that from demon tweeks) is knackered. Also, My TPS is knackered as well. How the car was even driving is beyond me let alone driving so well. So...New pu...

Na i binned them. They looked ruined. Topmounts were in a real state! Having had a bit more time behind the wheel i still have a bit of nervousness at the rear. The roads are fozen up here at the moment so maybe it's just that. I'm gonna do the bushes and tie rod bearings asap anyway. Might have be...

springs
Are the yellow billies softer than the blacks? I know that it's deffo apex springs on my car and they are definitely on the cheaper side when it comes to springs. I don't want to raise my ride height though. I may go with the tein, I had a set on my rx8 and it was nice. Good to know the springs hav...

it is the springs that give the poor ride, if you can find some rev1 NA springs which are much softer and raise the ride height you will notice a much smoother ride and barely notice the poor road surface, i run yellow Bilstein B6 with these springs and its great

had 250whp on a rev2 with those mods
So to bring this one to closure, and to help any other poor souls who end up battling with a similar issue...... My car ended up quite consistently building boost to around 14psi and then dropping to around 4psi between 5k -5.5k RPM. So after spending many an hour online researching, pressure testi...

if you are still running the rev2 ignitor that will be the problem, rev3 motors need a rev3 ignitor

Re: [FINALIZED] REV 5 Turbo, Forged 460BHP Comos Blue SOLD
The car appears not to be a genuine turbo can you confirm this, what is the cars true mileage as it now reads less than half of what it did a few years ago and is the car fitted with a cat as it would need it for its next MOT and i dont know any inspectors in my area who would pass it without one

The stock ct26 will never hold 15psi to the red line but fitting a stronger actuator will make it hold 15psi to 5,500rpm
