Re: water protection?
While its sat it shouldn't be a problem unless it fills with water! Not sure I'd wanna run it with a plastic bag on though. Half decent car cover better idea though, whip if off throw in boot go driving.

Re: fans blow hot
Go to the frunk, remove spare wheel and plastics behind and look at the pipe on the left with the cable operating the valve. Check that the cable operates it fully both ways. Open and closed. Could be the cable isn't closing it fully or the valve is knackered.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Camshaft Removal without taking the complete belt off
My bet is the tensioner would move and you wouldn't be able to put pulley back on. If you are removing tensioner you might as well remove the belt. At least while the belt is off you can check the water pump etc. I'm all for a short cut but most of the time better off doing it right and doing it onc...

Re: peter giddens sbits
The problem with big builds or projects is that unless you have everything ready to go you end up starting, doing a bit, stopping, ordering bits. waiting to arrive then start on it again when the daily usual work has dried up a bit. I've had a 350z here since prob Feb..Its nearly done but need a cou...

Have you inspected the coil? Done a code read? Inspected inside of ecu for caps leaking? Intermittent faults are a pita to diagnose at times. Good luck dude.

Unlikely to be the oil, save the new oil for when the clutch is changed. Get new driveshaft seals too just in case. Pita when you get 95% done then realize you gotta take the shafts out again to replace em.

I ordered a set for a Mk3 from Toyota couple of weeks ago... Worth giving them a go first. Think they were about £3.75 each. Its worth replacing the o rings on the other side too while you are at it.
