Re: Is the Celica GT4 a good MR2 Tubby replacement?
If i really had to choose between an mr2 and any gt4 providing I really disnt need 4 seats. REALLY didn't need 4 seats then it would be an mr2 everytime. Look better, cheaper to run, more fun, more eye catching to all and sundry. The gt4 is great but it's a wallet emptier for sure. Btw, you wouldn't...

Re: Do I want a rev 4 turbo t-bar?
I've had two MR2's previously and just picked up an absolute mint NA rev2. Tbh, the drop in power hasn't bothered me (yet) as it's so much cleaner and less played with than any of the turbos I have seen and spent the last 3 months looking for. The reliability of an NA is maybe something I appreciate...

Re: Is the Celica GT4 a good MR2 Tubby replacement?
Absolutely brilliant if you find the right one! I had an st-185 "crate" wide body without a spot of rust. Rebuilt it from the ground up with a fully forged engine, it was just waiting to get resprayed to complete it when I lost it I'm a rather silly decision. Great cars, only petrol heads ...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] K an N filter/induction kit arrived today.
On the rubber base of the filter there is a hole present. Like where a hose should fit in or similar? Should I just blank it off. The right angled pipe from the top feed that fits into the metal pipe is on but there is a smaller pipe in the same right angled piece sticking out for a hose of some sor...

Anyone fitted a clutch to this car before?

Can it be split and fitted in place or do you have to drop the lot or just remove the rear wheels driveshaft assembly?

[Mk2] [NA] Timing belt parts.
Need to fit a new timing belt but have these spare from a uk spec gt4 identical engine and trying to save a few quid. Here are some pics of part of a full timing belt assembly. I'm sure these are identical but opinions welcome. http://s25.postimg.org/dwb1jr657/image.jpg http://s25.postimg.org/dwb1jr...

Ok. Still got clutch slip and tried adjusting the rod every possible way. However. It's not non driveable just slipping when you really put your door down Looking at this post and paying attention to pic number 3, does anyone think it's worth backing off this pedal height adjuster to try and gain a ...
