Re: [Mk2] [NA] Slipping clutch question.

I'm thinking of going for an exedy clutch as I have used them in the past.

Any other reccomendations, bearing in mind I'm not running big power.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Slipping clutch question.

Nearest to me is GTS CHRIS.

I've been quoted £120 to do the clutch over a weekend by a garage that has done plenty quality work on mine and my mates GT4's.

Seems fair.

Tbh I thought as much.

In reality how much of a nightmare is it to do a clutch on these?

[Mk2] [NA] Slipping clutch question.

The clutch is slipping in my 93 UK car, only if I try and gun it however. So at the moment I'm short shifting everywhere and no problems, no clutch smell or such. Car copes tottering around. Now, I've adjusted the pedal rod as best I can but it still slips under real load. Before I go and start fitt...

Removing the plastic chrome effect toyota badges from the bonnet and the boot.

Are these just stuck in with adhesive or are they actually pinned to the panels?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Garages in Scotland to fit a chargecooler??

"Rough", depends on your references I suppose. It's certainly not Linlithgow but it has it's moments for sure. I ended my doorwork years here in Falkirk, just the same gobshites and wannabe tough guys on a smaller scale I suppose. The prison your thinking about is in Polmont, it's a young ...

Ah yes the Falkirk cruise.

Amass with spotty chavs and skanks.

Although believe it or not I did see a 360 Modena and a porker GT3 sitting in the carpark at the cruise once. Both drivers would have been lucky to have had pubes.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Garages in Scotland to fit a chargecooler??

If you're not fussed about location I and many others can very highly recommend Nick at Custom Craft in Elgin. He put an absolutely beautiful system on my 2JZGTE Aristo and also put nice systems on my two Celica GT4's. I have to try him for my Merc as it needs a couple of discreet mid -silencers. I...

[Mk2] [NA] Intermittent alarm problem.

Not the usual clifford alarm but the cars horns blasting intermittently. Would switch off with key fob and had to use the key to get in and when the key w...
