[Mk2] [Generic] Loose white wire and multiplug in engine bay fuse box.
Probably nothing to worry about but I've just noticed these. Can see me holding the suspect white wire in one pic and the white wire and multi plug in the other. Multi plug probably something to do with aircon or I don't know before the rev 3 turbo swap. The other pic if you look closely you can see...

Re: Harness without rollcage
Because a cage and harnesses saved my life once.
It's my car.
And I think it looks cool as feck.

Re: Harness without rollcage
I've had harnesses in most of my cars and at least a rear cage sometimes a full cage. Yes it's a real ballache as you can't reach feck all and looking for oncoming traffic can be pita as well obviously. But I'm eventually going to get a pair of the inertia belts as I reckon this is the best if both ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Boost issues.
Boost leaks, vacuum leaks, dead / failing solenoid. Meant to say. I put redex fuel system additive in it with my usual V Power about 5 days ago and have been running it with as little boost as possible since. The knock sensor light hasn't come on again when before hand it did regardless of boost or...

I do yes, I've got an Omori fitted where the voltmeter used to be and they both say the same all the time.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Boost issues.
boost leak If its colder then you should need less boost for same power I know mate, that's why I'm so surprised as it's not had a really sudden drop in temperature here in Scotland. Certainly not enough to require that percentage dialled in to the EBC to make the same level of boost. Do you think ...

[Mk2] [Generic] Boost issues.
For some reason the boost controller is now needing a lot more dialled in to get me the same amount of boost. Boost controller is a Blitz Dual Solenoid number. Rev 3 turbo conversion. Usually around 50-54% in warmish weather gets me the desired 15.5 psi but now I'm having to dial in 85% odds to get ...

Correct knock sensor?
I've asked this question on a post of mine elsewhere but I'm hoping it might get answered quicker if I make a separate post.
Apologies if this is the wrong part of the forum.
I have a Rev2 originally N/A with a Rev3 conversion, are the knock sensors the same on turbo and non turbo?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] UK car with revision 3 full conversion. Engine management light coming on?
It's most likely the cheap fuel I put in it and the tank being really low.
Like I said I always use V Power.
I don't run much boost either.

Are the knock sensors the same on both turbo and non turbo blocks?
It wouldn't surprise me if it's just bad wiring for obvious reasons.
I'll get it checked out with the MOT.

[Mk2] [Turbo] UK car with revision 3 full conversion. Engine management light coming on?
Engine management light comes on, I get indicated full boost on both my displays but feels like half the power. Switch off ignition and all good then a few minutes later engine management light on and same thing, feels like half power but indicating I'm getting the boost I've selected. Car isles fin...

ES in Kirky are supposedly good, I had mine done by a mob in Bellshill and it took them 3 attempts to get it right..
