That's the Falkikr equivalent of Elle Macpherson.

Some haven't experienced a Falkirk cruise! An experience is what it is certainly and one that I wouldn't repeat in a hurry

Any recommendations on one to use? I've spotted an HKS one online but it's £120, am I going to have to wince and pay it?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Garages in Scotland to fit a chargecooler??

There is a garage I have used in Falkirk for work on my '2. Not a specialist, but a good old fashioned mechanic. He has owned his Turbo for 20 years so knows them well. He was really good with me when I could not for the love of god find the leak in my system. Took him a week too with some chin scr...

Re: MPH/KPH clocks - PAS issue

Yes, you can just swap the speedo head (not the whole cluster) in from a UK car. This will resolve your PAS issue and also mean that you have both scales of speed on your speedo which is useful if you ever go on a euro trip. It is just plug and play. However, you will inadvertantly enable the 112MP...

Re: MPH/KPH clocks - PAS issue

Not the gearbox, it will be behind the clocks Aha, that explains that guys mention of the clocks! I did think it odd the actual clock was the issue (hence confirming his chat) as it all depends on the signal recieved. I'll have the chance to pop the dash off while I do my engine swap (rev 3 engine ...

MPH/KPH clocks - PAS issue

Hi All, Hoping fora bit of advice here. Tried a search but couldn't find details but maybe I wasn't hitting the correct key word. Anyway, after chatting to another '2 owner out and about, he mentioned the clocks in my car. Car is converted to mph but with kph clocks (the excellent importer has just ...

Re: Brake fluid advice.

Don't use DOT 5 as this has many adverse effects when mixed with 3 or 4 (even after a flush as some is still present) and isn't really meant for road cars. I'd pick between DOT 4 and DOT 5.1. 5.1 is the "higher performance" stuff, it's a glycol based fluid like DOT 4 but with a higher boil...

Re: New Fuel Pump - In or out tank

Cheers chaps, stick with in tank it is then :D Sorry wasn't clear either, the rev 2 is a turbo too not a n/a so turbo fuel pump at the moment. My tank does need dropped anyway as the petrol gauge isn't working and the sender is ok. I'm not going to go huge power, a solid 350 - 380bhp is probably as ...

New Fuel Pump - In or out tank

Hi All, I've just bought a new rev 3 turbo engine (cheers Pistol Pete :thumleft: ) to drop into our rev 2 shell. Pete has been great and given me everything from the engine bay, wiring, driveshafts, gearbox etc. Everything needed to turn the car into a rev 3 essentially. One fact I overlooked howeve...

Re: rev 2 to rev 3 conversion - driveshafts and hub?

Sorry should have added the rev 2 tubby is non LSD and the rev 3 running gear going in has a LSD. Thanks for the help guys, so i need the driveshafts but not the hubs, that slightly reduces the work i need to do! Hopefully have the engine swap done by the spring if all goes according to plan. When t...

I can get them at the same time as picking up the engine. Anyone with a bit more knowledgr than me know if i need them or a...
