Pistons

I used Tim @ xxxx to get my CP pistons, he supplied them for around £440. Best price I could find, shame my builder messed up the ring gaps..

Why it won't let me say the name of xxxx I don't know..

You'll notice that you won't make much boost in first either due to the gearing. Not sure on the WRX, but I assume it's the same in this situation. More to the point, why a...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Clutch change - parts required

Get the shaft seals gaz, they're a pain in the ar$e and always leak once disturbed. Had to do mine after a certain someone didn't order them when I had my clutch changed (It wasn't me!!) Seals were replaced last year, don't think they cost too much though. Wish I had the money for a turbo conversio...

Re: sound dampening advice

This sounds like it would be ideal, but think about the damp/water that would get in and eventually rot it?

Re: Rear Lights - Fog Light Modification

As Red said, that guide is based on the UK model which only uses a single element bulb in the inner pair as a fog light. The UK model also has a different reflector in the inner pair (sometimes called a half moon reflector). This doesn't fill the entire lamp housing, so it's easy to see which you h...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Another Exhaust question - Flow Vs Noise

Excellent thanks mate! Much appreciated. Sounds alot more of a tuner-y sound with the silencer, rather than just a loud noise. I like it. I'm likely to go down this route, not sure if I want to do it before the trackday or not, I'm not going to be racing people just out to enjoy it. Will stick the b...

Anybody else going to this?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Another Exhaust question - Flow Vs Noise

@ Andy - That's what I was thinking, do love the look of the nur spec I must admit, always gets comments. But if it was £90 to have the silencer stuck in there I don't think it's too bad at all. This certain neighbour is a xxx in all aspects, he's moving soon so hopefully he goes. There was alot on ...
