Re: My 1993 G-Limited
Not done too much recently just enjoyed driving it but did paint the calipers (black) and do a few other jobs that needed doing. Still really enjoying being back in an MR2. :) http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j169/cossiecris/DSC_0014_zpsx3uhxipz.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j169/cossiecris...

Re: Power steering failure. Reservoir not empty. Solutions and safe to drive?
try turning your ignition from off to position 2 (all dash lights on but engine not started) quickly about 30 times this usually gets it working again Beat me to it :) I had this issue on my last MR2 (n/a rev5) and turning the ignition switch 20 or so times fixed it for me and lasted a good few mon...

Bit more tweaking, adjusted the suspension some more and re-adjusted camber etc. Also fitted some 20mm rear spacers and some 5mm front spacers to bring the wheels out a touch and replaced the black wheel nuts for some strengthened extended purple tuner nuts. http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j169/co...

Re: My 1993 G-Limited
What coilovers did you go for ? Only the same as I had on my last one, TA Technix from ebay, they're made in Germany and are TUV tested/ approved so have to be tested quite vigorously. They aren't the greatest, but for the money they're decent enough :) Works *Work That drives me nuts when people p...

My 1993 G-Limited
Thought I should really post up some pictures of my MR2, I used to have a lovely Rev5 uk spec GT which I have regretted selling ever since I did, so last month after selling my car I decided I wanted another one. Looked at a few all in different specs, most were sadly quite bad condition wise and on...

Had them on my Rev5 before I fitted coilovers, ride is nice without any harshness.

Changing the clutch fluid may help, however sadly if it's slipping and you've already adjusted what you can the only real fix is a new clutch

Re: My 99 MR2 GTt
Only a small update, today I fitted my new B&A Quickshift which has made the gear change feel a lot better, I've also re-fitted the standard airbox to replace the Apexi induction kit that I had on there for a few months but felt it ran better before so switched back. Also ordered up a service ki...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Central locking issue
Maybe a daft question but has the remote batteries been changed recently? Maybe it's lost some calibration with the control module.
Do you have a second remote you could try, or is that the same?

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Loose wheel Nut
Sounds like the threads on either the nut or the stud are worn, have you tried undoing it by hand? Just remove it slowly and as straight as you can to inspect what part is damaged (hopefully just the nut).

There's also a fair few being broken on eBay, they may have the ability to cut one out and send it to you if you cannot find anything else?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Steering wheel boss
The below boss kit is what you need, cheaper than the other ones and just as good. Horn cut out into the rear of the boss is there on these, easy to fit. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Steering-wheel-boss-kit-Toyota-MR2-SW20-mk2-Will-fit-Momo-Sparco-OMP-/180949253088?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Air bag warning light
As has been correctly pointed out, the UK cars with a steering wheel airbag fitted DO NOT have a warning light as it's mechanical.
My Rev5 does not have a light, something that came in handy when I changed the steering wheel for an aftermarket one

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Heavy steering.
If it 100% has PAS fitted then it could be the relay at fault. This will normally show up a warning light on the dash, but the bulb could be blown or the sensor/feed not working correctly. Turn the ignition on and off (not engaging the starter motor) 20 times this will reset your relays and then it ...
