Never done it, but I suspect the only issue might be swapping the speedo drive if the rev2 is cable and the Rev 4 electronic.

As I understand it, dealers can set their own price for obsoleted stuff (usually will mean 10+ year old car). Liverpool Toyota seem OK.

Finding M10 x 1.25 stuff can be difficult -- I'd think nuts with the locking tabs will be more so.

They can be fussy to bleed (don't forget to put the heater on full).

A compression test would rule out the possibility of a HG issue.

That's it.

A decent pentrating oil like GT-85 or Plus Gas (not WD40) helps a lot.

If they're that bad, though, careful use of an angle grinder will help. ;)

New sets from your local Toyota dealer, not overly expensive as a rule.
