[Mk2] [Turbo] MR2 REV 3 Turbo Starts then dies!
Hi all, So the story goes... My rev 3 turbo was sat for a few days and when I started it had a pretty bad missfire and would die if I touched the accelerator, check for codes and I had 14 & 22. I replaced my coil as it was a mess and the ECU temp coolant sensor, both codes have now gone but my c...

Re: Coolant Leak
Awesome! Thanks guys! I am am hoping it is one of the drain bolts as it is quite a substantial leak! I have read that you can do it without removing the tank and running the new lines alongside the tank, I have it booked in at my mates garage at the weekend so I will keep you all updated! :thumleft:

Coolant Leak
Hi Guys, I have done a search but not found my specific issue, my rev 3 turbo has quite a bad coolant leak that falls under the passenger seat area. When I have searched it has pulled up either hoses from hell dripping from a different place or water in actually behind the passenger seat in the car....

[Mk2] [NA] Rev 1 N/A to Rev 2 Turbo conversion
Hey Guys, I know this has been done a 1000 times but I'm considering the above swap. Now I've read nearly hundreds of threads on it and everyone seems to have differing opinions! Now I know rev 3 would be better but im happy with about 270 bhp as I use my car as a daily so please don't tell me to go...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Not blowing warm air..
Yeah there was warm/hot air before I Changed it but it was stuck on the middle setting. I think that I may have disconnected one of the retracting wires that opens the system for the hot air but I cant seem to find where....had another look about an hour ago but was pretty dark. Its a rev1 and there...

[Mk2] [Generic] Not blowing warm air..
Hi all, had a good search on the forum to no avail. Now I know what people are going to say in response to the title but it isn't anything to do with the coolant etc. When I bought the car the heater was stuck in the half way position, and there was a spare in the boot. So tonight Ii stripped down t...

New 1990 MR2 Owner!
Hey I've just bought a 1990 GT T-Bar in white! It has 143,000 miles and was my brothers friends before mine. Its not a minter by any stretch but my aim is to get it looking as good as possible over the summer! Just a few questions really: The temp gauge doesn't work any ideas? Sometimes it wont star...
