Re: safe levels of boost
So the internals are quite strong then? What about a cometic head gasket? Would would that increase reliability? If so, what size would be the best to get? Also, if I were to buy a fcd what sort of boost levels would be the maximum?

Re: Mounting a defi gauge
I was thinking of an EBC, but I don't think I'd have the slightest clue on how to set it up might watch a few YouTube vids to learn!
I don't actually know it's wrong, nor do I think it's wrong. But I think it'll eventually pack up. It reads -9psi at idle, does that sound correct?

Re: Mounting a defi gauge
Well I'm glad I didn't put it there! Haha. Don't want to lose the blue though, so a replacement surround is out of the picture. Might just disconnect that one completely and leave it in for the time being

Re: Mounting a defi gauge
do-able though? the one in currently is a 52mm gauge, the new one is a 60mm. i was thinking of drilling it out to a suitable diameter, and popping the defi gauge in.

Mounting a defi gauge
I have a crappy dragon gauge boost gauge (52mm) that came with fitted next to the steering wheel in the plastic surround. Would it be possible to open that hole further out and whip a 60mm defi gauge in there? As I'm doubting my eBay gauge is very reliable.

Fuel gauge stuck
Yesterday I noticed that my fuel gauge has stuck at 1/4 of a tank, even when I turn the car off, the needle doesn't return to the bottom of the gauge. Anyone heard of this happening before?

Re: SPEEDO NOT WORKING!
So I need to connect te1 and e1. I'll do that on Sunday and see what it throws at me! Then I'll let you know. If it does come up with code 42, what's the fix?
