Seeing as the BMW needs more loving than a badger on heat, I'm using the mr2 to get to work this week. But, with the first frost this morning I was frozen out! Any tips guys? A good rev 3 turbo for sub 2k? No way. Someone show me one link of a good one...... I spent a lot of time looking around and ones at 3k were selling before I could even get to look at them. Really? So there's more additives in the oil that's no good for it?

Toyota oil - think I'll stick to that then. Can't argue with manufacturer spec.

MT90 is touted by a few people and is the wrong stuff.

When mine was replaced at Pacific Works the MT90 came out (previous owner) and the right spec Comma oil was replaced.

Cool - But my main question was for the rear ester geeks among us - the actual quality of the oil GTX vs Magnantec - is it bad? Has anyone else used it? I mean, to be honest I'm flapping about nothing. Halfords oil is just Comma - and lots of people use that. I change it v regulary with genuine Mr T...
