Re: Windows out respray - how to remove glass?
Basically follow this guide - http://www.mr2oc.co.uk/know-your-2-knowledge-base/mr2-mk2.html?catid=10&kbartid=201 Once all the trims are off, [and engine cover] you can see the clips & gasket, etc that hold the glass in place. This guide, [no pics] goes into a bit of detail about refitting t...

I think it's the last one at the bottom on the right hand side but there's a diagram of what's where printed on the lid of the box.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 2 turbo light steering motorway speeds
Right... so if you have a stock import in KPH with no mods this doesn't happen. I'll leave mine alone then. Thanks If you never plan to exceed 110MPH then no, don't change anything. Your explanation made more sense to me, although you're right it probably doesn't apply to the wired system on rev1's...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 2 turbo light steering motorway speeds
Can someone go into more detail about this please or point me in the direction of an explanation? My 2, [rev 1, cable driven speedo ] is an import and is still in KPH, no delimiter & I'd like to know what difference converting it properly to MPH & maybe delimiting it actually does & why ...

Re: Wobbly wingmirrors
Soldering iron and wrench with exactly the right size screw-bit finally got them undone without stripping the heads. Cleaned the bolts up with lighter fluid which is surprisingly good at removing old threadlock and re-assembled. Wobble gone. However it's not all smiles... discovered the bottom of th...

Re: Japfest 2014 pics, reports and comments
Did the top gear boys go out on track then I take it? Think I either missed that or didn't realise who I was watching. Yup they were out on the track, also on the dyno... looks like they were filming a section for the next series - I'm assuming it will be along the lines of, 'Japfest is the largest...

Re: MR2 Newb
The old system is rusted through apart from the manifold & its working out cheaper to go stainless from the manifold back rather than replace odd bits of system If you do decide to buy it make sure you confirm with the seller that it will definately fit your engine. I was looking at a kit from ...

Silver Mk3 roadster. Ogmore-by-sea.
Went for a drive to O-b-s for an hour or so around 6.30-7.30PM today to look at the sea for a bit and saw a silver roadster parked up as I was leaving.
Roof down, looked tidy.

Hmmm I don't have a soldering iron or thread lock.
