Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Charge Cooler Fan
I've found out a bit more about the whole subject now. There's a thing called an AC amplifier which is located under the dash, secured to the car's heater. This needs to stay in situ as it operates 3 relays which are in the frunk fuse box, and these too must be left as they operate the different spe...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Charge Cooler Fan
I just thought if I'm going to have a spare fan up front I may as well use it to pull some cool air through the pre-rad, while I'm standing still. Would love it if someone could give me some tips on how to wire it to the speed sender without it affecting the speedo reading if that's even possible. :...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Charge Cooler Fan
Am i right in thinking that when you remove your A/C you free up one of the 2 fans on the back of the engine radiator? Can the free'd up fan be used independently from the engine radiator fan, to help cool a charge cooler radiator? And could it be wired to come on when the car comes to a standstill ...

Re: gaaah, first car trouble with the mr2 :( suggestions welcome!
The first ecu that you tried, the one I lent you, worked ok the last time it was used, but like I told you that was 2 years ago. If it's messed up your map sensor, or whatever it turns out to be, let me know and I'll go halves with you on it. Just reading through this, you say that you tried my ecu ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] big power for internally gated turbo
Just stumbled across this on another website and I was surprised at the power the turbo was able to make. I thought you had to go for an external waste gate if you wanted that sort of power. I also always wondered what was the better engine, the Cosworth or the 3SGTE. Any thoughts? http://www.turbos...

Are there any poly bushes in your suspension? Good job you're reading this as after 4000 miles in a mr2 you must be deaf! Lol

[Mk2] [Turbo] Standard Flywheel Weight
I've looked all over the net but can't find the weight of a standard turbo flywheel. I don't know if the n/a and turbo are the same weight . I was thinking about getting a machine shop to take a little bit of weight out of a standard flywheel for me, this is why I ask, thanks.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Turbo Engine Block
I've got a running daily driver rev 3 turbo that I am thinking about forging but would like to keep it on the road up until the last minute, so was thinking about getting someone to build me a short block while I keep the car on the road. I still have the engine from my first mr2, a rev2 turbo sitti...
