Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Will the ecu know it's gone?
Did you happen to use the running gear as well as the engine and ecu? I just wondered if I might get some issues when I take over the rev3 turbo running gear/suspension to the rev1 n/a. You may have seen a previous post by me. I want to get a poly bush kit but I'm not sure if I'll have to mix it up ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Will the ecu know it's gone?
Am I going to have any issues with the ecu on a rev3 turbo that has power steering when I swap all the parts on to a rev1 n/a that has no power steering? Will I be getting problems from the ecu not seeing the power steering anymore, or will it just be a case of a light coming on on the dash? Thanks ...

[Mk2] [Generic] Power Steering Stopped Working
Stopped at the petrol station to fill up but when i jumped back in the car it felt like I had two front flat tyres. I noticed a p/s symbol on the dash was on, so realised that my power steering had suddenly stopped working. I checked fluid and fuses and they were ok, so was wondering if someone coul...

Can I put Rev3 suspension on a Rev1?
I currently have a rev1 n/a and a crash damaged rev3 turbo sitting in a workshop. I'm just trying to source some parts before I start my project and find out a bit more about the bits that I may need. As well as the engine I also wanted to use all the running gear from the rev3 and I've got 2 questi...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Poly bushes
I get that the rev1 has a adjustable front tie rods and the rev3 hasn't so that bush is different but Im getting confused with the two sizes of bolt, m12 and m14. Like in this link. http://www.mr2-ben.co.uk/products/view/powerflex-rear-inner-track-control-arm-bush-m12-m14-bolt-kit-toyota-mr2-mk2-198...

[Mk2] [Generic] Poly bushes
Can anyone confirm for me that the bushes in this link will fit my rev 1 na which I am in the process of fitting a rev 3 turbo engine and all the suspension and running gear to, so in essence it will be a rev 3 turbo. Will I use the m12 bolts from the rev 3 in this kit Thanks. http://www.summitracin...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Best way to monitor a chargecooler??
Nice one. I'm still gathering the parts for the charge cooler set up. I wasn't going to bother with the gauge until I fit the charge cooler so it will be interesting to see how you get on. Are you going to use that green k type wire or did you get something from Auber?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Best way to monitor a chargecooler??
I talked with the guy at Auber again just to find out more about the accuracy as I never really understood his last reply about it this is what he said: "You can calibrate the gauge with probe and offset the error before you use it (see attached file on how to calibrate). There are many factors...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Best way to monitor a chargecooler??
All the bits came from auber instruments direct rather than ebay - actually works out cheaper. buzzer gauge and aluminium box for the gauge £61 to my door. the gauge is only 47mm wide 22mm tall. the wire in the youtube clip is 5m long and is the one from the e bay link. twist it together and spot we...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Best way to monitor a chargecooler??
That eBay link where it says manufacturers part number does actually say SYL-1813g NOT syl-1830g as that was my typo!
