Yes I've got a n/a and I'm not sure what the purpose of it is or if I need it or not, I'm assuming this was only present on the uk models, and was a thermal thing maybe,just not sure

Hi, the engine lid material, is that for sound proofing or thermal proofing, anyway mine has just about disintegrated, do I need to replace this or not? Any advantages in having it or not, any advice would be welcome, thanks n advance

Yeh gonna do it next week hopefully, also gonna change the manifold gaskets while I'm at it, gonna polish up the manifold, valve cover and heat shields while I'm in there.

I might be up for a meet, depends when and where, plus I've also got some slight mechanical issues at the moment with oil around my spark plug boots

I should have said the oil seems t be around the rubber boot that fits over the spark plug

Just noticed that I've got a bit of oil collecting around the top of the spark plugs, 3 out of the 4 have a little bit of oil there, no loss in Performance or smoke or anything, it's a 1996 n/a , is it valve cover gasket gone, any advice would be appreciated, also if there is a link to replacing the...
