Re: Wheel Alignment / Vibrator Issues
No not using extended studs, there seemed to be more than enough thread left for the nuts to go over nicely. I didn't know a wheel bearing issue could cause big vibrations? No whine or anything when going along. Another thought could be the tyres, apparently something can happen inside them if left ...

Re: Wheel Alignment / Vibrator Issues

When I went there the young kid kept asking ' do you have facebook ' and ' wanna join a car club '  For that reason I may ...

Re: Wheel Alignment / Vibrator Issues
Had the wheels balanced Had the alignment front and back done Tramlining is no longer that much of an issue at all and generally the car feels much more stable. However the steering wheel shakes / vibrates a ridiculous amount at 65 - 70mph, anything below is fine. Any ideas what this could be? reall...

Wheel Alignment / Vibrator Issues
As above, does anyone recommend a place to get this done in the Sussex area? Car tramlines pretty badly at the moment between 60 - 70, any grove in the road it will try and follow which can result in nearly shifting lanes on a motor way... Headlight Alignment
Hi guys, now that my car is on the road I am noticing more and more problems so expect a lot of posts.... hope I am not too annoying
Is the headlight alignment a fairly easy task? had them apart before but never saw any sort of adjuster.

Tein springs are incredibly hard, I actually think their coilovers are softer

Temperature issues
Hi, if the car is left to idle for around 20 minutes it the temperature needle gets to about half way, but as soon as its driven it slowly goes back down to the very bottom and stays there not matter how long it's driven for. It does have a big fat aftermarket radiator and doesn't appear to be losin...

Re: Looking to be a MR2 owner - few questions
Yeah well there are enough Rev 3's around cheap. I know someone selling one for £500 with MOT and condition is pretty good. You will notice when looking that the condition of them varies so much!! Engines are strong but you will mainly have to look out for rusty sills / if they have been done! Espec...

Re: Looking to be a MR2 owner - few questions
Hi! That is interesting, did you not prefer the GT4? You can get a fairly decent Rev 3 N/A from about £1000 - £1300 but saying that I have seen a few around £600 ( you get what you pay more most of the time ) Beams are pretty rare and yeah you are right when they come up normally cost a fair bit! Pu...

Re: Ticking Noise
OK so checked the exhaust manifold, held a bit of paper by each area and didn't move / couldn't feel anything blowing out. Did the nuts up extra tight and put my ear there and it doesn't appear to be coming from there. I then took the cambelt cover off to see if the tensioner was making a noise, it ...

Re: Ticking Noise
There was no backbox attached when the Fujitsubo manifold was on, so probably would not have been able to hear it over the sound of the exhaust. But certainly did not pick up on any abnormal sounds.

Re: Ticking Noise
Tensioner also crossed my mind but its really hard to pin point because of the stupidly loud exhaust ](*,) It could well be the manifold gasket though as I recently took of a Futijsubo manifold and putting the gasket back on the OEM manifold was pretty difficult as I think the ports are slightly dif...
