Re: BREAKING Azure Blue Rev 4 NA, 5Zigen, Drilled & Grooved Discs
Do you have a price in mind for the 5zigen ? also are there any pictures ? Looking around £350, could be open to offers. I'll post some up after work, or you could have a look in my project thread. Where are you based? Also how much for the engine and loom? Cheers Based in Bradford, not sure on a p...

Re: Ewan's Rev 4 N/A
Clutch went last Friday, so I dropped it off a coupe of days ago to get it replaced and MOT it, with the plan of putting it up for sale after. However, it need quite a bit of money to get it through the MOT, and doesn't make financial sense to put that into it only to sell straight after. So, unfort...

Re: Ewan's Rev 4 N/A
Well, started Saturday and finished tonight. One of the rear calipers had siezed on the slider, took an hour to free it, then cleaned up and greased, rebuilt. Then had trouble winding the piston back in, eventually managed to do that. Now all back in one piece and working. Also eradicated an annoyin...

Re: Ewan's Rev 4 N/A
Dent's all done, new light in, stopped the drivers side window from rattling, and got the front discs and pads done. Decided to retire for the day after that as it's -1 out and my back is dead. Will finish up tomorrow.

Re: Ewan's Rev 4 N/A
So Christmas Eve I reversed this into a lamppost. Cracked the rear light and dented the wing above it.
Dent is getting repaired tomorrow, along with a new rear light.
Will also be fitting discs and pads all round and a service. Then a decent clean as it hasn't had one since early December.

Re: Aerial hole diameter??
Thought I'd have a go this afternoon. Pulled the old aerial out, turned out to be a cheap knock-off one. The hole in the wing was around 31mm x 25mm. I had a few blanking grommets (1", 7/8" & 3/4") so tried the 1" directly into the wing. There was a fair bit of vertical play ...

Re: Aerial hole diameter??
The mast is snapped and has resulted in a few cut hands when walking past, mine included. It's also corroded and is a bit of an eyesore.

Aerial hole diameter??
I'm removing the aerial from my Rev 4 and will be blanking it until I source an S2000 one. Anyone know the hole diameter in the wing?

Re: Ewan's Rev 4 N/A
Been fairly quiet the past few months. Had a new battery and handbrake cable. Thinking of switching to a turbo model next year. For now, a few photos: https://scontent-a-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/t31.0-8/10865937_409620432519900_882805641707990844_o.jpg https://scontent-b-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...

Re: Ewan's Rev 4 N/A
Got the wheels done and sold my old ones. Bloke came on Friday night to pick them up, so I went to swap the new ones onto the car only to find my wheel nut socket is too wide to fit into the holes. So the car was on axle stands until I managed to get some internal drive wheel nuts today. Gone from 2...

Re: Ewan's Rev 4 N/A
Been stripping the wheels this week, paint wasn't, neither was the primer under it. Friend gave me his method. But I was getting nowhere with it really. So I took to a sanding wheel and a drill, and 150 grit for fiddly areas, soaked them in paint stripper and took them back to metal. Made sure the s...

17" Wheels & TOM'S Style Air Scoop
Mitsubishi Evo MR Wheels 17x8, ET38, 5x114.3 Some kerbing (let the other half drive), but nothing a few hours of free time and a refurbishment kit couldn't sort out. All are straight and true. Currently have 205/45 and 215/40 tyres on, but these will need replacing as they're below legal depth. Col...

Re: Ewan's Rev 4 N/A
Finally got the brass insert off this morning. Loads of corrosion between the two different metals which is why it wouldn't budge. Bit of heat and it soon came off. These are the old ones: http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk115/ewan1992/20140928_095613.jpg Shifts are much tighter now. Two jobs lef...
