Re: Picking Up Today - Hopefully

I'm up for a meet nearby. A few nice pubs around too.
Just have some work to do on her before she's road worthy but hopefully MOT in April and then the jobs can be done while in use.

Re: Picking Up Today - Hopefully

Cheers, Had a good look and the sills look good imo.
Exhaust is very blowy and the handbrake is laughable.
Luckily it's a project but i intend to bring it to japfest in April :D

Picking Up Today - Hopefully

Well, After selling the rev 1 a few years back and moving to Wales (which was a mistake) Finally got another one sorted. Needs some work but wanted a project to make my own. Don't know much about the car, (think it's a rev 3?) so expect lots of questions. :D http://i1320.photobucket.com/albums/u536/...

Rev 1 Subframe removal.

Hi All. I'm due to start rebuilding the rear suspension and i want to know if i can remove the rear sub frame without touching the engine? Removing the exhaust isn't an issue as this being replaced anyway. I have axle stands so i can use one to take the weight of the engine. Just wanted to make sure...

Re: The Black Pearl Build

Drivers side completed and MR2 now sitting on 4 wheels again. Passenger side should take a little less time as i had to wait for parts to remove the old ball joint and find a way to remove the old swing arm bush. Not perfect, but i intend to drive her in all weather so paint was just to smarten it u...

Re: JAE 2014 - Attendees List

Well, as most of you know already, the rebuild is taking longer than expected so i won't be able to make it this year. I think i'd rather delay the finish date and miss this years shows than rush to finish it and do it wrong. So i won't be able to make this, but as long as everything carries on as ...

Been working away on little things the last few weekends trying not to remove too much as it needs to be moved. Good new is, I havve found a garage nearby and have a recovery company moving it for me. It happens on 21st Feb so hopefully I can get on with the suspension the weekend after
