Hi All, hope you all had a good xmas My car has been getting very misty/wet windows over the last week or so. literally having to wipe down the windscreen with a cloth and the tbar glass (I'd removed the sun panels) as they're sopping wet and the heaters take for ever to remove it. finally got my ar...

Re: Newbie to MR2s - 95 Rev3 NA

Yeah Red i'm not sure why they don't come with it as stock? I fitted it to my old Celica GT hence the left over, but not to the Faff. Luckily its never happened to me before this, and hopefully won't happen again touch wood :) Donato - I'm not really meant to be spending money on this car (altho I a...

Re: Newbie to MR2s - 95 Rev3 NA

Went out the other week, only a short trip, and when I parked up, I noticed a pink fluid on the lower part of the front bumper. From what I'd seen of the coolant, it wasn't pink, more of a used brown lol, so I had a quick look around but couldn't see anything and it didn't appear to be leaking. Any ...

Thanks for the Info chaps, will keep an eye out for some of these (or talk to Mr T down the road)

Synxero - Still interested on your views of the function of the TRD spoiler if you've got any - also eyeing up one of these at the mo ;)

Re: MK2 spoiler compatability

never heard of those Rob (new to MR2) Got any pic links or anything?

I'll go have a google

Edit - Just Googled....they look like plastic tabs. Would the OEM Mudguards not have the same effect?

Edit Edit - or do these go before the front wheels?

Re: Newbie adding a Cosmos Blue Rev 5 to the fleet - pics included

Welcome to the club and MR2 ownership, its new to me too but so far so good.

Good looking car you've got there.

Only 24? is that a typo lol? You must be paying out a fortune insuring the fleet.

Gorgeous supra and stang btw. Love Supras, hopefully get to owning one eventually :thumleft:

Cobat spoiler on Ebay - ends today

He has sent me some extra pics. it ideally could do with a respray. But the mounts/feet/bolts appear in good health

I'm not going for it anymore so thought i'd share :)

Re: MK2 spoiler compatability

Thanks for the pointers Torero. I'll keep my eye out for some bargins. This is going to be a slow build.

synXero/Peter - Just as an after thought: Is the TRD spoiler a more functional/effective choice then? As it is taller and a little wider, or is it still not quite there?

thanks

Re: MK2 spoiler compatability

Again thanks for the info, very helpful (was about to buy a rev5 spoiler but I guess i'll stick with my current one in that case ;) ) Yes thinking about it, with the engine and the downforce at the mid/rear the front must become quite light and skittish at speed. My car is currently lowered by 30mm ...

Re: Newbie to MR2s - 95 Rev3 NA

Thanks chaps, yeah I did love the Four a lot. Miss it daily but the MR2 is filling the void a bit :) The wheels are the Four turned our to not be OZ's in the end libertine, although they were very similar. They were actually Racing Hart Superlative Dish D'spec (mouthful lol) 16x9 and direct fitment ...

Re: MK2 spoiler compatability

thanks for the info bud :thumleft: How do people generally rate the Combat spoiler? Is it an upgrade over the Rev3? Obviously the adjustable down force is the bonus I guess? I want to slowly make my car into a 'grip' car for track time fun, although in all the MR2 championship vid's I've watched a l...

MK2 spoiler compatability

Hi All still quite new to MR2s and haven't found a good manual for myself yet. I've got a Rev3 with the rev3 2 post spoiler. I've not taken it off yet. I want to ask, is the foot print/bolt pattern on the Rev3 boot spoiler the same as the later Rev 5 'combat' spoiler? (the one with the adjustable bl...

Bit of a mission to get it secured but once I do it seems to stay locked.
