Re: MK2 Rev5 New Owner
That may well be my favourite part of owning an MR2, the number of people that stop to tell me how good it looks and whether they can buy it off me! Can't say I've ever found the frunk lid to be exceptionally heavy though?

Re: TRD SW20 Spider
I agree that roof up they look a bit backstreet garage jobby, but always thought they looked nice roof down... the engine lid especially. And I completely agree that this one has been molested aesthetically, but nothing that can't be changed without too much investment. Ah well, I hope the person th...

Re: TRD SW20 Spider
Bodykits and wheels can be removed, condition can be improved - the rarity of the car is what's undeniable. I posted it on here in the hope an IMOCer will buy it, restore it to OEM and we can boast another very rare car in our forum! Though I do agree, the bodykit and wheels look terrible. Also that...

Peter Gidden @SBITS
Hello all, Whilst the last thing I want to do is go treading on toes, as everyone else on this forum seems to be singing his praises, I'm having issues with Peter. I bought and paid for some JDM Rev3+ rear light clusters which he was going to do the quad light modification to on the 3rd of April. Un...

Very nice looking red Rev 3/4 pulled over by the Shell petrol station on the Hook (Ace of Spades) Roundabout this afternoon, I'm the Rev5 Sonic Shadow that flashed at you

That's a lovely blue Torero! What do you reckon would look good on a Rev5 Sonic Shadow with dark red seats? Probably just gonna leave them standard after this poll...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Rev3+ rear lights indicator colour...?
Isn't that just US spec? The extra little lights? Standard seems to be coming out on top poll-wise :/

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Two horns...?
Thanks Sheppy, I had dual air horns in my first car (a very fine mk2 Punto) because I got sick and tired of being cut up... might have to buy some more. Ah ok, I don't really fancy the telephone wire idea :p I love the idea of a gearstick mounted horn though... that is something I'm going to have to...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Two horns...?
Presumably at some point the wire from each of the buttons join into the one wire that leads to the horn, what I was meaning is would it be possible to sever one of the wires just before this join, extend it and link it to a different larger horn?

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Two horns...?
Ah fair enough... and haha! There's someone with a Bel Air that lives around the corner to me and he has a Dixie horn! Mm, ok I might just change the normal horn out for a loudish horn... any recommendations?

[Mk2] [NA] Two horns...?
How hard would it be to wire each of the horn buttons on the steering wheel? Contrary to the majority of people, I quite like the standard MR2 horn... it's very sports-car-y, and is brilliant for beeping at people you know etc etc. However, when some b*stard cuts me up/does something inanely stupid ...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Standard alarm fobs
After speaking with Peter, you were very lucky... the other six receiver replacements he's done have failed within the first year. Seems the only reliable fix is to go aftermarket, and he's recommended Toad to me... so I'll look into that. If it's such a regular problem, how likely do you reckon a g...

[Mk2] [Generic] Rev3+ rear lights indicator colour...?
What colour do you reckon is best to spray the indicator sides on the Rev3+ rear lights in order to modernise the look of the car? I've seen them done black, red, and clear on various member threads. Any pictures of them done any of the colours would be appreciated! Thanks
