Re: [Mk2] [NA] Door open warning light flashing
Also, key fob doesn't work at all anymore and locking/unlocking the doors doesn't affect the lights flashing inside.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

[Mk2] [NA] Door open warning light flashing
Hello,
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Hoping someone can help me, every time I close my doors the red lights inside the doors, the dome courtesy lights and the door open warning light all flash wildly
- does anyone have any idea what would be causing this?
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Thanks in advance

After rereading your post, I live in South London
- I wouldn't be able to collect from Cornwall, I'll have to pass sorry.

I'm getting increasingly tempted just to buy a cat and a Mongoose and have a legal, quiet exhaust

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Decats
After having spoken to Powerflow myself about getting an exhaust made, they told me all their exhausts would be droney
:/ I'm interested in the decat though, call it
£20 including postage?

Sonic Shadows FTW!! ![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Yeah it looks good, and Blueflame would be relatable to Mongoose sound wise, so quiet enough as well! Now I just need to find one!! What decat do you have?

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Decats
A fair point well made regarding APexi Odin, I might have to look more into induction kits. I just want something louder than stock without being deafened on the motorway! I had a Mongoose on my old MR2, and it was fine enough - 70mph was droney but a bit under or over was fine. Not sure if it was d...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Decats
When I was first looking at buying an MR2 a couple of years ago, I was told decat was the best thing you could do
(illegalities put to one side) and that it, alongside an induction kit as mentioned by Odin should be the first things I do.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Decats
I partly agree, but a new cat is expensive and mine has welded itself to the back box so I need a new something! I'd get a sports cat, but they're like
£300.

likewise, if anyone has a cat for sale I'm also interested.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Decats
Whilst I want my car to sound awesome driving around town and on WOT, I do a fair bit of motorway driving
- would an eBay decat be a bad idea for this?

[Mk2] [NA] Decats
Can anyone recommend a decat to go with a Mongoose I'm looking at buying? Presumably a Mongoose decat is the best bet, but they're a little expensive - is an MR2-Ben one likely to be ok? Or even the really cheapy ones of eBay? My (very) limited understanding is that a decat is just a hollow piece of...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Standard alarm fobs
Old thread revival I know, but I have an update to my question - I recently fitted dual air horns to my car, and was wondering how difficult/possible it would be to wire the horns directly to the siren? Obviously not going to help the receiver problem, would provide a VERY audible warning if someone...

Re: Suggestion for IMOC product
Another product idea I thought of, for those of us not lucky to have a garage, some kind of sun screen would be nice in summer months to keep the car cool and protect the leather from direct sun? Something like: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Front-Windscreen-Shade-Protector--130x60cm/dp/B007LX4JI8/ref=sr_...

Repainting nose and splitter...
Does anyone know a decent but not too expensive paintshop in South London/Surrey? My splitter and nose need repainting, I had a go at repainting the splitter myself and whilst I didn't do too badly, I don't trust myself with the whole nose so might as well get both bits done professionally. Any idea...
