Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rev 2 to rev 3 inlet conversion N/A
No, it is possible to achieve, ask Jeff Trump on the MR2OC facebook page. Involved a bit of fettling and die grinding but can be done and apparently provides a bit more go due the enlarged throttle body diameter and the better flow characteristics of the rev+ inlet.

Clutch pedal adjustment
Hi there, Mine was the same but there is some adjustment on the clevis block that connects to the clutch pedal itself, do a search regarding this subject as you might be able to wind in the adjustment to bring the bite point back down, usually it's wound out to get the bite point higher after instal...

Re: Fan Sensor
I think they are the same, I'm not 100% sure though.
Easiest thing to do would be unplug one and get the part number off it then compare against the other.
I'll have a look on mine during my next tea break at 3.30 for you and see what they are.

Re: Where's the O2 sensor on a rev3 na?
Hi The Lambda (O2) sensor is bolted into the top of the downpipe, just before it goes over the top of the rear subframe. If you look down between the engine and boot firewall you might see it next to the lower engine mount. Easy to get at from underneath, its connection plug is about 150-200mm above...

RCA's
Hi,
Just a thought, not sure if I'm thinking about this correctly. But if you've got the car lowered on coilovers, won't you need a RCA (Roll Centre Adjuster) kit to bring the geometry back to nearer standard and therefore less negative camber?

Re: Anything happening in the South West?
Hi, I'm in the South West too (Taunton area) and know a few others locally who want to do a mini mr2 meet some point. Where abouts are you based? Although that won't be till April most likely so would be good to meet another mr2 owner sometime

Hi guys, I know the OP and I think he may be in two minds at the moment as to whether he really wants to sell the car. But I will drop him a text and let him know there's interest for pictures and price on here just in case he hasn't seen your posts yet. As for location I'm sure he won't me saying t...

Re: Ebay Recaro Seats
They've gone back up and the price has increased, but only to £300 so still quite a good price for them. If I had the money I'd snap them up.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Best way to remove needles??
Wouldn't just having the ignition on before you remove the needles (have them on the stop pins) ensure the motor shaft can't move as it will be locked to 0mph & 0rpm, not sure how you'd do the others though

The 50 profile tyres do look good and will give you a nice smooth ride, but if you like going round corners fast then be aware that the sidewall will flex more compared to 45's

Re: [Mk2] [NA] K an N filter/induction kit arrived today.
I'd do a search regarding oiled filters on mr2's. I could be wrong but I believe the general agreement is to stay clear of oiling and stick to dry type filters as the oiled one's clog up the MAF sensor. This might just be on the turbo's though.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Air bag warning light
Is it a UK car with only the steering wheel airbag? If so then there isn't an airbag light because the airbag is mechanical and uses and impact sensing firing pin to deploy instead of electrical sensors. So if the garage have just advised that it didn't come on then they're wrong as there is no ligh...

MTEC Coating
Hi I fitted MTEC discs with their black coating a few months ago, and cannot find any fault with them. They work great with the EBC redstuff pads I fitted and look awesome too, as the coating gets taken off where the pads makes contact, but stays in the dimples and grooves so they really stand out. ...

Re: Refurbed Alloys
That color looks amazing on these wheels, might have to do mine that color when I can afford a refurb. Mine are a gloss black currently which the previous owner had done, but that shadow chrome really highlights the wheel design while still having a nice contrast and a bit of a darkness to it. Looks...

[Mk2] [NA] Flywheel and Clutch kit
Need to change my clutch soon and am thinking of upgrading to a lightened and balanced flywheel while I'm at it, I know this is for the Altezza but it is for a 3sge engine. Does anyone know if this kit with flywheel, clutch plate, clutch and bearing would fit my UK Rev 5 na?

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Advice with pop ups please
Hi I'm not sure why your car would be doing this but I can answer one of your questions, there is only one RTR fuse, it handles both sides. Have you checked the connections to the control box (blue I believe) mounted being the passenger side headlight? And have you got a voltmeter? If so try and che...
