Re: Exhaust Replacement
Hmmm, with an angle grinder and welder anything is possible. I fitted a Citreon Saxo exhaust on to a Honda Accord and a Ford Focus ST exhaust on to a BMW E36 316 in the past. Currently I'm running a Nur Spec from a tubby on my n/a.

Re: Speed sensor and handling.
I swapped mine over on my drive, most useful tools I found was the girlfriends makeup mirror and a head torch. Prepare for scuffed wrists and to lose a knuckle or two

Re: Removable silencers - angry neighbours
I run a nur spec on my n/a it's a lot louder than stock and I leave for work at 6:30 everyday but then I don't particularly like my neighbours. From the various bungs I've seen used they don't really do much

Re: Radiator bleed valve o ring
Quick question, are these bleed taps notorious for being problems? It's just I have a couple of spare ones from my old rad as I figured they may be useful at some point. Apologies to the OP that I didn't see this post earlier otherwise I could of saved him some pennies

Re: More N/A power
You wanna run 300bhp from your n/a engine? Cheapest and fastest way is always gonna be forced induction but turbo and superchargers are a)quite expensive and b) take a lot of work. £600 & 3 hours work can fix all of this http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh126/daventrysurfer/2011-06-19150918.jp...

Driving in snow
So this will be my first winter in a 2, I'm curious as to what they're like to drive in the snow? Last year I had an Impreza so the snow wasn't an issue, a couple of years ago I had an E36 which was a handful but with the addition on a paving slab in the boot it coped ok. Are there any tips for driv...

Re: Rad dimensions and question
Sorry I took so long, here are the pics as requested. The temp sensor and hoses are wrong for the mk2 rev3 http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh126/daventrysurfer/F88EC52E-4848-48AC-A990-EBAEB1175D92-1340-0000005A4C4E1883_zpsd21d55ca.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh126/daventrysurfer/A2BBB6...

Rad dimensions and question
I have a mk2 rev3 but I bought a rad with fan set and it doesn't fit. The locating pins at the bottom are too close together to fit my car they are 400mm apart and the temp sensor location is on the left side of the fans. Would this be for a mk1?

Re: Easy Question about standard Radiators
Hmmmm I wondered if it possibly came off a mk1. I got it from a breakers so didn't get to see the actual car it came from. It's obviously been used but is now gathering dust. Cuz it didn't fit I ended up just getting one from GTSChris

Re: Easy Question about standard Radiators
I have a rad spare with fans on it, I bought it as a replacement when mine blew but the locating pins at the bottom where too close together and the temp sensor is on the wrong side. My car is a rev3, any ideas which rev this rad is from?

Re: Rear Diffusers
I've been reading this and tbh I love the rear diffuser look and I fancy trying to fab one however my biggest problem is I'm running a Nur Spec which sits down low. Anyone got any ideas or inspiration?

Re: [Mk2] [NA] De-Cat Pipes?
I have a Nür Spec from a turbo '2, ditched the flexi section in to the pit that is my shed and cut the right angle-ish tube till it was the right length then welded a flange on so when it comes to MOT time I can just unbolt the pipe and bolt the cat back in. Bonus is the exhaust system is all stainl...
