Rev 1 UK 3SGE 2L16V

My MR2 is for sale due to not having the spare time or cash to spend on it. I bought the car as I'd always intended on taking a trip through Normandy later this year but that won't be happening as I now have a wedding to save for. She is mot'd until May 21st but SORN'd so no road tax. I have a threa...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Starter switch

Folks, anyone? At the moment I'm pretty sure I should be wiring to the 12v constant and the other wire to the starter motor for the push switch. Sound good or will it go pop?

[Mk2] [NA] Starter switch

Folks, i'm fitting a push button start switch but i'm not sure where to wire it in for the starter. The instructions say "There are two wires that need to be connected to the starter motor solenoid". Looking at a wiring list here: http://alarmsellout.com/support/diagrams/vehicle/TOYOTA%20M...

Re: Scruffs scruffy MR2 - new wheels fitted. Help please?!

Oh yeah the springs are purlely to make it look less like a 4x4. I'm now considering going for the standard 15 inch wheels again ](*,)

Re: Scruffs scruffy MR2 - new wheels fitted. Help please?!

The problem with coilovers is they're flipping expensive and i really can't justify buying some. If its just springs, i can fit them myself and it'll only cost 120 if i go for Apex. The wheels are just about in line with the arch. Would an extra 5mm make that much of a diffrence?

Re: Scruffs scruffy MR2 - new wheels fitted. Help please?!

New wheels are fitted, definately needs lowering! I've come a cropper though... the fronts touch the bottom of the collar that the suspension spring sits in. It only just touches, the wheel still spins but it squeaks and annoys me massively. I was thinking of fitting a 5mm spacer, thoughts please an...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rev 1 suspension - lowering springs?

I hadn't noticed the replies on here folks but thanks for the input. Both posts there have been very informative. The suspension (both shocks and dampers) are quite new as the previous owner took a lot of care over that bit. He just let the bodywork get into a bit of a state. I lowered my old celica...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] honda starter button

Sorry to dig up an old thread but i was just wondering if anyone knows which colour wires i should be splicing into for the push button start? The link on here for the diagram is dead.

Can I ask why this is for rev 3 and later? Would it not fit the rev 1 and 2?

[Mk2] [NA] Rev 1 suspension - lowering springs?

Hi folks, i've searched but don't think anyones asked this before. Maybe its a stupid question. I've an NA rev 1 with standard suspension but want to get some lowering springs for it. The shocks were all replaced about a year ago like for like. Will i be ok going for a set of generic lowering spring...

The furry faced idiot strikes!! Evidence of paw prints, hair and scratch marks down the side of the car ](*,) Luckily he hasn't torn the roof too! I've never known a cat to have such bad co-ordination. http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj289/cossienick1/DSC03770_zpsf3dae3e7.jpg Butter wouldn't melt...
