Re: My REV3 TURBO £200 PROJECT! NOW FULLY REPAINTED AND KITTED!!

It is easy to forget how good red MR2's look with all the pink ones around then you see one like this and realise they really do look incredible.

Nice work and those wheels... =P~

Same I have a Legalis R, sounds good but it's getting swapped out...a little too quiet for me however its not silent...like tmus said, it's quite a deep tone.

Re: Few pics of my MR2 as it stands

I love starlets. Never had one though. Had a punto gt which was fast as hell. also had a renault 5 gt turbo. Think they are all uinreliable apart from the starlet though. Ive had about 6 of these wee clios. Such fun. Mine has a lot of decent parts on it too. Just need a set of discs all round, and ...

Re: Few pics of my MR2 as it stands

Small/lightweight cars with decent power do offer a very fun driving experience, I had a Starlet GT Turbo, only had it running stock boost with a few mods so say 140hp max, weighed just shy of 900kg and what a blast I had in that. It was super reliable too over the period of time I owned it. I alway...

Re: Few pics of my MR2 as it stands

Yeah man go for what you like, your car looks awesome and really isn't far off I reckon ditch the lexus lights, polish up the exhaust and maybe look into getting a hold of a set of split rims...or even just wheels with a dish and a good offset that will sit them flush with the arches and you will ha...

Re: Mr2s first drag session, Updated with video.

How are you guys launching the cars? I ask because mine is my daily and I would rather not break anything. It was first time on the strip also on my last trip there so wasnt really sure how to launch the car properly...I was just holding it at 6000, engaging the clutch as fast as possible (this is w...

Re: Mr2s first drag session, Updated with video.

When i went upto Crail in summer I did two runs, the first I completely missed second like a tard. On my second run all went ok but found it tricky getting grip off the line however I am sure my time slip said 14.299s @ 100mph (remember being happy about the 100 part haha) Why although I am hitting ...

In my humble opinion all black wheel is a waste of deep dish and Equips. Here are mine refurbished by CardCore http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb305/Odin_S/20140910_131531_zpsahjmfzja.jpg I actually considered going fully polished at one stage but I personally dont think I could pull it off haha...

I'm in Mexico visiting my dad and in the mean time trying to finalise my direction on how I want my car looking for summer whilst I have time to think. I've been debating going for black side strips since Josh (JAAASH) posted up photos of his so I did a quick visual on my car http://i1269.photobucke...

Re: 4x4 drivers

Not all 4x4 drivers are the same but I do think some feel superior in their larger vehicle and will try to intimidate and bully other drivers. If I was in that 4x4, even if you were in the wrong and had pulled out having seen me coming I would certainly not continue until the last minute then brake ...

Be sure that's not kicking in. (Ie warning is coming in too low).

Ok awesome, he is going to try blocking the pipes tomorrow

The ebc does have a warning feature and is set at 18 psi

[Mk2] [Turbo] Car Jerking between 3000-4000rpm

Hi, I am posting on behalf of a friend that has started having an issues with his rev 3 turbo. As he describes the problem to me: In 1st, 2nd and sometimes 3rd gear when boosting above 14psi the car will jerk between 3000-4000rpm and then will continue to boost fine. This does not occur in 4th or 5t...
